Good video i enjoying watching but i do agree that the British AP could do with a small buff as i play British battleships the most and it gets very frustrating when i don't citadel battleships as i will not be able to detonate their ammunition and do a very large amount of damage eg 20k damage

The king George V battleship class was one most armoured battleship overall in the world in WW2. Only thing that was more armoured was the Yamato and the hull armour of the Bismarck. The game devs decided to make the king George as lightly armoured as possable.

sbr_Grendel65 the nelson and the hood are formidable. Ships if you know how to play them and get decent commanders to fit your game style im a bit like spartan i prefer a tanky brawler build which the hood is very nice at however nelson is more of a slower take your time ship not like juan bart and and sit back of map spamming he but take your time and pick targets wisely but id still recomend them nelson and scharnorst are my go to ships when i want money farming the hood and scharn for division and then im fully enjoying the russian bbs sinop is a citidel taker she loves giving me a shit ton of citidels on ships lol

I spent a lot of time crunching the numbers on this one: 22 seconds is worst in class at Tier VII for rudder shift and, from what I can tell, the turret rotation is tied for worst in class at tier VII with the Amagi. I didn't have the detonation problem that you had, though I haven't been hit by more than one torpedo in a match with it yet. I'm not sure I got much more "WTF" dispersion with a survivability build, and the additional heal is exceptionally useful (and like you said two would be even better), but I also feel like they're trying to get you to spam HE in this one, which is also not going to be for everyone.

Reminds me of my Iowa game on this map. Had two DD's, a Scharn, and a hipper spawn on the opposite side. I had me, a JB, and a DD. Otherside was 2v3 bc two ships died early on and no one was doing anything so I pulled a Flambass to distract the right side. My team decided "Hey, the Iowa is doing something. Maybe I should do something too." I bait an Gneisenau into middle. Both sides steam roll the remaining ships. I take 3 Gn torps til the DD fully flanks and torps him into oblivion. Felt useless doing 60k dmg but I did my job by distracting the enemy.

Hello Spartan Elite43 love your channel :) I understand this is an old ish video but I've had the Monarch for maybe a month now and it is possible to citadel pretty much anything between 7km to 11km from Iowa to Jean Bart it cant at all (that I'm aware) punch through basically all German Battleships due to turtle back however, on a decent salvo and anything from full broadside to shy of 45° it's possible to deal 20,000 damage. It can be mean. But like true Spartan fashion you cant kill many Battleships

if you put the azur lane hood commander or Charles madden on with brawler you can bring your reload time down a little more on the Monarch i got a 22 to 23 second reload on the king george

Thick horizontal armor means the side of your hull has more armor than normal like the german bbs with turtleback armor. I wish they would let us have to ability to look at the armor like on pc. It would allow us to know how much armor we have and know our weakness.

I run a Nelson Azur Lane commander on her for extra HE damage and chance plus less damage taken. She isn't the greatest tier 7 but she wrecks destroyers and cruisers with her HE. Plus she can melt battleships if you land your salvos well with her fairly fast reload.

If you like cruiser play, Atago is a beast. 10 km torps, burm em to the waterline guns, good range and maneuvering. Either a stealth build , you can get visibility to about 91/2 km. My absolute favorite ship in the game. I do like the Bama, but Atago is a monster!!

I'm currently grinding for a 750k Global XP BB and I need second opinions. I'm thinking Tirpitz since I have Ciliax and Hipper. I could go for an accuracy build. Any other suggestions?

Hhmmm thats a Brit and I advise using HE as its main shell.AP, I'll use when the enemy ship is broadsidin. Idk how the console MOnarch works but in PC its kinda like that.Her HE fire chance is really good but the HP is kinda disappointing given that my King George has 60.5k hp. I never bought the Monarch but I am confident that the Brits HE do hurt.Alot. The main point is try using this play style and I hope my opinion do help, if it doesnt help then just stick to what ur comfortable with.

Dude I can hear the frustration in your entro... must have been a rough test out... Side note why don't you throw your propulsion in reverse when you turn? Makes turning radius quicker if you time it right and you lose very little momentum...

I used to slow then throttle back up and that helps at times but it's just extra thinking so I tend not to bother unless trying to avoid torps

It's not that they are under powered it's just that the AP pen is so bad. They generally land more shells than most battleships they just rarely citadel other battleships it can happen but usually only at extremely close ranges

HMS hood armour is not too bad but you have to remember that she is a ww1 based battlecruser not battleship so when you are facing ships like Bismarck, Iowa and other ww2 ships hood can struggle but if you work with her she will deliver. To me she is worth buying as she is a challenge to play and as i am british she so was always on my list to buy. If you like a challenging ship to play she can be fun if you do get her remember when you are in hood fighting Bismarck you are fighting a ship that is 20+ years younger but if you keep ships at 12 to 13 km thats when hoods guns seems to be the most effective

Too many negatives especially with the much lower fire chance compared to KGV. I anticipated that there is a strange irony with the 15" British guns in that at least with the KGV's 14's, you have the solidarity and confidence to keep using HE in most scenarios. This seems to be the worst of both worlds with underwhelming HE AND AP! Edit: and 54k health pool for tier 7 premium?? What a load of crap.

Anyword on a Jean Bart Nerf..really isn't thing wrong with it but it basically ruins gameplay when players sit in the same spot with impunity. I say increase the fire chance on it or disable of the main guns..The ship requires no skill any noob can pick it up.
