AMEN! GOD'S plan is STILL the redemption of the lost through Christ in the gospel. Christ is our HOPE, HE IS the RIGHTEOUS LION! HE IS victorious, as are all who repent and believe in Him (by faith alone). Christian's are to pray for our leaders but we aren't called to "build America", we are called to build God's kingdom. We happen to live in America. Likewise, building America is not the gospel, social justice is not the same as building God’s kingdom. That's not the unity God intends for us with a man leading us as "God's choice". We are in the NEW COVENANT! God's Son leads us home! True unity God according to God’s plan is the salvation of the lost...sinners submitting to Christ in faith UNDER the banner of God’s salvation over us....this is not patriotic unity under the flag...that's no way in to the kingdom of God. Respecting this Country, being a steward of the Lord's creation, obeying our leaders, praying for them...all of it yes, but that is not the co-labor of the Church in Christ.

Always appreciate your thoughts, Allie, I think though that we should rejoice and celebrate that people like Amber Rose are seeking the truth, and trust God with the rest! Totally understand where you’re coming from with the criticism, but this is a political convention, not a church. Our faith is not in a political party but in God alone. I am glad to see the Republican party welcome her so that others may realize that being a republican does not automatically = being a Christian or all-around conservative. Let’s give them patience and grace, our job is to love/pray for them, and let God do the rest! We should not pretend to know anyone’s heart. In the end, thank goodness, we don’t have to be the Judge!

Allie, we are a Bible-loving, Jesus-loving family. My husband is a laborer for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and I cannot even begin to tell you how much we appreciate the head of the Teamsters Union giving that speech. We were glued to his words and give a hearty “Amen” to all that he said. He spoke the truth. These laborers are worked literally beyond their physical and mental ability…without time off or even sick pay (although was finally approved for 3 days per year just a few months ago). To understand the heavy burdens placed upon these laborers, it might be a great idea to interview (or dig into) someone who is actually in this demographic. The speech was far from boring for us! And I do not mean that in a rude way to you!! I adore you and I absolutely LOVE your show and how you’ve grown my faith!! My husband is also the State legislator for the Union for the state of Oregon. It’s remarkable what the Railroad has demanded upon these people ~ and what their families endure! It is inhuman. Thank you for all you do!!!

I had surgery on my ear, and that is exactly how they covered it. It's just a guaze square folded and taped on. It catches drainage and keeps hair and lint from getting in the wound and causing infection.

Our most important freedom is freedom of religion. It is the singular reason the pilgrims left England for America. Why should our party ignore our fellow Americans who sincerely worship according to their beliefs. I think it goes a long way toward uniting the people. It is currently necessary that the populists/working class unite with the right side, right now. Our country needs them to if we have any chance of correcting course. Besides, in reality, our One true God is the 'only' God listening to everyone's prayers. There's no reason he can't answer their's as well.

The man literally had his ear sliced open from an assassins bullet. The complications involved with why that was allowed to happen would be enough to send the average person to an in patient mental hospital. So on top of everything else, his neck, face, and ear are stressed by the trauma of that bullet. Just to sleep at night requires some tricky creativity, not to mention his phone ringing every 5 minutes from worried friends & family seeking signs of life. Of course he will look different, he's in pain, he's deformed but the show must go on. Heavenly Father, please heal DJTs body everywhere he hurts. Heal all those who were injured. Thank you for the millions of dollars that You provided to care for these families. Bless all the beautiful souls who sacrificed for this cause. You are giving us opportunities to be unified in our commitment to campaign for the return of POTUS 45 to the White House. Father please let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Teach us to number our days and not to take them for granted. In Jesus name I ask, Amen

I am a Teamster, and I voted for our current president and the rest of our leaders this past cycle, and Sean and the other guys are a big shift from our previous leaders. I have always been conflicted about being a conservative union member, but that's another story. However, I have felt much better having our current group of leaders, and I pray that they continue moving in the "right" direction. 🙏

We must, as Christians and children of God, remember that God views sin different than we do. So how we put people and their actions or motives on some sort of sliding scale as part of our human understanding of sin often does not match how God views sin. When Jesus Christ came down to this earth and formed the basis for the Christian ministry, he didn't spend his time with the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the staunch and upright , he didn't spend his time with the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the devout or upright people. He most often sought out those who were sinners and lost in this world. And he didn't seek these people out to condemn them or judge them. He did this to offer them a chance at salvation. We are to emulate Jesus Christ in our own lives as children of God.

In the ministry that Jesus conducted in his time on this earth, he sought out those who needed salvation, and that was often the harlot or the thief or the infirmed. But that doesn't mean that people weren't moved by his teachings and actually sought him out instead. There is context, and I think you have missed that in your reply....with respect of course.

I appreciate your podcast and I usually agree with you, but not this time. My wife and I were moved by the courage and sincerity of Amber Rose and her speech. I do not approve of her stance on issues especially abortion. However, we have to be careful of being overly pietistic. Obviously as Christians, we know that holy living is the result of regeneration. Amber Rose does not claim to be a Bible believing Christian, however, we must be sensitive to the possibility that God may have begun a good work in her heart. She needs our prayers and encouragement. It took a lot of courage for her to speak out in opposition to the culture that once embraced her.

Exactly… Allie just see A to think the RNC is a Christian conference.. if it was the case then yeah a lot of stuff would be wrong but this is not a Christian conference it is a political one where we claim to all strive for the wellbeing of everyone in the physical sense not the spiritual.. that’s what church is for. Don’t get me wrong I’m super Christian… and I will judge my brothers and sisters and my behavior to correct ourselves and align with biblical truth. I’m surprised by your takes on the Sikh prayer and Amber Rose. And I’m shocked that you allowed your dad to equate that with a Jewish rabbi praying without correcting him that it’s apples and oranges. I was/am deeply disturbed by that prayer being offered at the RNC. And I think it was a great to have Amber Rose speak. She’s pretty near to a cultural icon with a whole lot of younger people and people of color listening to what she has to say! And it was very powerful to have her share her journey of finding out the truth about our party, that we’re not the racists that the media had told her we were. Amber Rose is relevant to millions of voters who wouldn’t give you the time of day. So, I think we should be grateful that she was willing to stick her neck out there and speak.

The GOP didn’t endorse Unions. They allowed the Union Leader the grace to speak. I mentioned to another that my daughter is welder in a non Union state. It has been a struggle. She has been put in some dangerous situations that OSHA should have been made aware of. I wish she had some support.

In order for you to show people what a Godly household looks like, you have to be willing to let them into your home. Particularly if you want to spread the word AND you see that the person is undergoing a positive evolution. Both of those considerations are about healing and uniting and educating which is good and what we need.

I am trying to convince my 91 yr old mother, of what Ron said there at the very end of the interview. She doesn't like the way Tr**p talks and doesn't think he is very 'presidential', so she didn't vote for president in the last election. She just voted down ballot. I am hoping to convince her this time that a no vote is a vote against her more conservative principles. I hope, after the last 4 years, she will see that.
