This movie is absolutely an underrated gem. The humor is incredible, especially in any scene with Bowler Hat Guy, the emotional beats hit hard, I love the lesson of learning from your failiures and not giving up, and there are so many little details and more subtle jokes, like how Wilbur says Cornelius looks like Tom Selleck, who actually voices Cornelius. Or that the sounds from the opening and the scene where Lewis goes back so see his mother line up perfectly, in that Lewis made the noise that spooked his mother and knocked on the door in both scenes it's the exact same scene, just from a different perspective. I love the attention to detail to make everything line up like that.

Another neat little Easter egg: if you pay really close attention to the sounds in the opening scene, and the scene where Lewis goes back in time to see his mom, you'd realize that they actually sync up perfectly, in that Lewis was the noise that spooks his mom, as well as the one who knocked on the door in the beginning, after he'd already done everything.

Anyone else realize that Future Lewis most likely woke up in that cold sweat to build the time machines because of the events that happened in this movie? Too farfetched, you say? Consider: He remembered what he'd done to Goob, and was planning on going back in time to fix it, because he felt guilty. Only Goob beat him to it.
@SledRider-bf3ih11 ай бұрын

5:52 Now that you mention it, William Joyce (the writer of the book Meet the Robinsons is based on), was a writer for Robots Look up William Joyce, his work includes Rise of the Guardians, Epic, Rollie Polie Ollie, Toy Story, the list goes on

9:46 I guess the Bowler Hat Guy's outfit reveals that if you give someone a villain-designing prompt that just says "evil man with a mustache wearing a unitard, cape/cloak, high heels, and a fashionable hat" you can get WILDLY differing results based on who thought it up and what vibe they were going for. Without the Bowler Hat Guy as context, what would YOU have guessed the prompt results would look like?

The bowler hat guy looks like a darker version of Waluigi.
