I am so heartbroken, but as I read more and more about these brave souls who risk their lives for the animals, I see courage and compassion, nobility and love. The ones who perish break my heart more than can be expressed- but, the ones that you save due to your selflessness are so grateful, as am I .Thank you a million times over. Yes, but there are more abandoned animals in Ukraine than volunteers!.. When people left the towns and villages that were being bombed by the Russians, a lot of civilians could not or did not want, did not consider it necessary to take their pets with them!! Especially cows, goats, pigs, horses, different birds....

Animals are so very precious 💖. I'm so glad there are caring people to help them!! It hurts to hear about all the animals that died!! They're like humans too, they need food & water, shelter to survive!! If they go without for so long they pass away! How I wish war all together would just stop!! What a world this would be, it would grow by leaps & bounds!! I hope these precious animals get as much help as possible, as soon as possible!! I've read the news of Yuna, a lioness badly injured by Russian attack who desperately needs relocation from the devastated zoo. Plz help her. No response for her relocation has come till date. Yes, but there are many thousands of abandoned house pets in Ukraine!! When people evacuated in a short time, many couldn't take their cats, dogs, rabbits, Guinea pigs with them for example, if they had to carry the sick family-member or 2-3 little children....During the forced evacuation towards Russia, the most people were not allowed to take their pets on buses!!
