I’ve met the King! My cousin (who is ALSO a Kyle Petty but not THAT Kyle Petty) worked in NASCAR and had hot passes for us at a race. I grew up a Petty and seriously thought he was like my grandpa growing up because we all cheered for him. Anyway, I was an adult when I met him. He walked out. I almost died. I talked about a million miles a minute and he took a picture for me and my students (we had a traveling mascot a la Flat Stanley). He was so nice. I might have scared him. But his kindness and his patience really stuck with me. He was so kind to everyone and so happy. He is one of those heroes you’re so privileged to meet and so happy to find out he deserves that pedestal.

LOVE that you had them both sign your epic hat!!! VERY interesting video. So Cool how they have everything set up so perfectly!!! Seeing their family house 🏠 was Awesome!!! We had our family house in the family from 1969 when we moved in to Dearborn, Michigan until 2021 when our brother Ken, who bought the house off us girls when our Mom died n we all inherited it, died of cancer in October. I stayed there till December 2021 by myself till I could moved down here to Ohio, where I am now, n it is no longer in the family since his children inherited the house! I do, however, recognize the importance of having an actual family house where everyone grew up together n had parties n gathered together for years, even after our Mom died!!!We were Super Lucky to keep it going through my siblings n their children growing up until death of our beloved Brother Ken!!! Wonderful treat to see another family who values what we were brought up to value to this day!!! Attaboy, Jordan the Lion!!! Pettyfest was a Petty first for me. Thank you!!

There's a reason why he's called King Richard... he amassed *200 NASCAR wins* which is one of the most unbreakable records ever in sports. Let that sink in. To give an idea of how unbreakable that record is David Pearson is second All-Time with 105 NASCAR wins. Even that win total won't be surpassed..
