sorry man, yeah this stage is a real fuckn nightmare. not much advice i can offer here, except that i had to memorize it down to every jump. then you can position yourself correctly for every jump, 'cause you know whats coming next. also stay as far left as you can throughout the entire time. if youre not jumping- be moving to the left. good luck to ya. wish i could provide more help. i know it may look easy here, but its most definitely not.

They really put the most cancerous boss after the most cancerous part of any Mega Man stage... What the fuck. I was replaying all Classic Mega Man games making sure I beat all of them without save states at least once, but I think this game can just go die in a fire.

I think the trick for me was knowing that if i press up on the d pad while kicking the ball weapon it makes the ball go higher. The boss was easier to understand after a started using this tactic.

I had to play all the games in Legacy Collections 1+2 before playing Mega Man 11 and this part almost made me want to rage quit. I spent over a hour to beat this and multiple times I almost made it to the very end of the first part of the level. These stages alone made me rank it to my least favorite games in the classic collections and 11; better than 1, 3, and 5, and below 4 and the rest.

Sliider I’ve got an update on my opinion on 8. After replaying 8 just recently, I find myself liking this game more than 4. For one thing, 4 is objectivity an improvement compared to 3 and more memorable than 5, but 4 just doesn’t appeal to me and is one game I would not find myself playing again. I find 8 to be underrated and a nice entry in the classic series and more appealing to me. I just think that the snowboard levels are the worst part of the game when the other levels have good level designs. I replayed both snowboard levels and with Wily Stage 1, I used the astro crush power at the very end of the first half to suspend myself in the air longer so I can reach the next checkpoint. With having a massive difficulty spike when the rest of the game is fair for the most part is like climbing a giant wall when you could easily fly over it, which is ironic since the second Wily stage has a tolerable flying level. I just find the other entries to be more causal with both level design and difficulty.

@@Sliider36 the first time I played this it took me days to finish. It was hell. It's why almost every time I replayed mega man 8 I usually stop after the 8 robot masters. Unless there is outside help like rewind on my ps classic and save states on pcsx2 I would probably never be able to do this again. It's just too painful without outside assistance.
