MMX8 is one of my favorite man. Glad we got more and more people speaking about it! Also keep up the work! Can't wait to see more of this on my feed in the future!

Well, you probably won't be surprised if my take ends up being negative towards X8.

Actually there's no need to do the whole prickle barrier thing in Bamboo Pandemonium's stage. You can literally just jump on the ground on top of the platform and the weight of the armor breaks the floor and gets you on top of the moving platform under it. I do agree that one part is pretty obtuse (there's absolutely no visual indication the floor could break there!), but I actually really liked that stage overall. Solving the small puzzles to get the armor all the way to the end was lots of fun!

Fantastic video! I loved hearing your take on megaman X8. Stellar pacing and the jokes were all very well done. I had no idea Alia's VA was given free creative range to just say anything in the recording room for Gigavolt, that is so wild to me. This video was a real joy to watch, keep up the amazing work!

Okay, well, my own takes won't likely be as kind. I know you have arguments to say it's better than X4, and I guess I can see why, but my takes are from someone who loves MegaMan Zero.

Not the first time I've seen someone throw in a Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 joke in regards to X8. But that aside, X8 is easily a D-tier game for me, while Red Alert 3 is easily A-tier.

You said something interesting: when I played X8, me too, saw the levels as great, but when you critically talked about them they looked like trash. Because the Mavericks stages only 2 or 3 really are well designed. Sadly, I don't know what happens with Mega Man franchise. I love it, but it is so filled with highest highs and lowest lows... In a unrelated topic, last year I discovered on Steam the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2. I went crazy! Bought it fast, because I never was able to play after 6 from the NES. To my surprise, even my PC having much more of the necessary to run the games, it doesn't boot up. I tried endlessly ways to fix it, tried to reach up to Steam with emails and all... To no success. It came to a point that I simply gave up. That's exactly what I think I did to the franchise. I played a lot of it, and then I gave up; gave up trying to understand, wanting to it to get any better... Everything. I just keep playing from time to time the games I really love, like Mega Man 1, 2, 4 and 6, X, X2, X3. If I had access to, I'd play all X series, but I only have my SNES, lol

Hey, I just wanna pop in and say that you're like the third KZbinr I know that has used Body Rock as an outro song. To be fair, ToadBup uses a remix, and SaltyDKDan just uses a different song now. It's still weird it's happened thrice.

My only experience with this game was the small demo included with Megaman X Command Mission. So actually seeing what it’s about is neat. The final boss does seem pretty neat.

While not a bad game X8 was rather forgettable plus coming after X6 & 7 pretty much destroyed any chance the game had. I will admit that having u find & buy the chips was bad maybe just an upgrade system would've been better. Also why would Lumina choose to have clones of Sigma & bring back Vile though. Why reveal to anyone that u r clearly evil
