Matt, I have to say, the quality of your editing and piecing together a general storyline has already improved significantly. Compelling camera shots, less shaky-cam, simple and clean cuts, and ALSO, well done on the soundtrack!

We have plans to do an "instructional guide" on how to pilot Eagle Prime. Like a legitimate one we can actually send to customers (paying test pilots) to get them up to speed quickly. Tim and I have a script written out for it. Not sure when we'll get to it! Probably within the next couple months. It will be awesome.

If this had take off the ”megabots” would be like the motorcycles in 80’s by now, every company fighting each other by making more advanced and powerful machines. I still kinda see hope for this as a sport tho, but the human safety factor would ruin it all unless the robots were remotely controlled or something to prevent high risks and let the machine vs machine match ups be more brutal.
@mokutomedia12536 жыл бұрын
I know your trying to be realistic but think about this. If the sport becomes more brutal then it also becomes much more expensive. So leaving a pilot inside (for spectacle of course) could end up making just as much money and maybe more. Although I do still think a remote league would be cool (probably overshadowing the human pilot league tho).
@dmitrykofanov19666 жыл бұрын
If you look at any motor sport - you will see that only pilots skills and emotions are good for it. Machines only secondary.

I have to say I like the inside view from both the driver and gunner seats, really gives even more respect for the pilots having to deal with that poor visibility. Also considering how mostly smooth The Wreckoning went I'm assuming the cooling fans were fixed? Hopefully you recorded that. Seemed like there were a couple technical issues with Eagle Prime during that, was it related to the cooling fans or just normal heat related issues from having to run Eagle Prime?

One idea for revenue might be to see if you can get paid to do half time events trashing cars at demolition derby events. For example, I recall seeing a half time event during a half time event at the Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois, where someone with a jet engine attached to the back of their pickup truck melted a car behind it. Granted, these demo derby tracks tend to be extremely muddy, for safety reasons.
@anubis5206 жыл бұрын
I agree and think it's a good idea. Between getting new fans and a bit of money it should be good. I don't know if eagle prime can handle mud like that and a bit more practice controlling it would be nice.

would it be possible to do a event were you allow the other mecha corps to bring their bots to come fight? What i mean is see if the Military Mech companies would be willing to let their bots compete in a fight.. you can ask Darpa if you have any contacts to them to allow one or a few of their Mechs that are sitting in a garage/hangar to fight. afterall they say Darpa has the best toys.. The bots we see in vids are what they let us see, im sure they got a large tank treaded mech of their own, or even a large Quad walker tank. o.O But anyway let the military bots join in.. this way they can showcase their tech might to eachother/ each country and and pushes other countries to develop more advance tech. you can even allow other "future Tech" such as the daedalus suit that richard browning pilots, or other advance tech. have it hosted either in america If you can get the goverment's approval, or some island that would allow several countries to meet up and fight with giant robots.. Or better yet.. See if Nasa will allow you guys to have the bots Fight ontop of the biggest vehicle platform in the world the Crawler Transporter.. if you look at it.. that giant vehicle's launch platform could make for one SWEET battle ring..

I just commented on the wreckonong. I was pretty harsh. I want to be clear that these videos are perfect. I want to see the problems and challenges that the godfather of mechs has to deal with. Archiving this stuff, should be hundreds or thousands of hours of content. If it is a video of you crying over your failings that is better then zork fucker borg. This is not a show, its a documentary. You need to believe your work outlasts you. One day these could be looked at just like recordings of bill gates and steve jobs creating a legacy. They could be studied. Id rather see the tortured life of an ingenious, ahead of their time, and never backing down inventor then the joke life of a street performing clown and his mechanical broken dreams
