How to use Meguiars glass sealant? Let me show you how to use the Meguiars perfect clarity glass care kit. The kit is awesome because it comes with the Meguiars glass polish and applicators for both the sealant and polish.
For this process you will want to have some of your favorite detailing products near by. Thing you will need: glass cleaner, clay bar (optional), microfiber towels, gloves, and of course the Meguiars glass care kit.
I would recommend you wash you car prior to applying any type of sealant or wax so the chemical can bond to the surface. Then use your favorite glass cleaner to ensure the glass was crystal clean. You can also use a clay bar to clean the glass (optional). Make sure you also clean the windshield wiper blade and under the wiper. Follow along with the video as i will show you step by step how to hand polish and how to apply apply a glass sealant.
Make sure to watch the whole video because at the end we will test out the hydrophobic properties of the sealant by hitting it with some water and watching it glide off the glass.

The only problem I see with not using a machine is the polish will dry out if not used in small sections. With the machine you can work out the polish to it’s fullest capabilities. Otherwise great and informative video.

Good vid, like the fact you wear gloves. All these chemicals can do enormous damage inside our body especially if exposed regularly/daily. Anyone imagine what those hydrphobic polimers do if they penetrate the skin...

The polish will help reduce the fine scratches and the sealant will fill any remaining scratches. The sealant will also help prevent the wipers from making more scratches. The only flaw I have found with the glass sealants is they attract water marks that have to be cleaned after rain or car wash. Lol

If itll help me see better at night and when its raining, then thats all im really worried about. Its a 25 year old car and the guy i got it from didnt seem to care too much about the wipers or glass so im sure you can imagine what im dealing with.

you need to have a windshield which you can prove has light swirl marks or scratches all over it, like having a good light shine from the outside in and then use the product to prove how good it is to removing light swirl marks and scratches due to say the rubber coming away from a windscreen wiper blade and thus the aluminium of the blade scratches the windscreen / shield etc only then will people believe the polish works ok ? Also i believe a good compound polish will do the same thing, the only difference really is that some companies do have a dedicated glass polishing products, but only the pro use, meaning that they have a DA polishing machine and dedicated sanding disc's which is like doing a glass or windshield correction steps, one gets the glass surface perfectly level and the other gets it polished up again to the perfect imperfections are all gone?

this isnt a polish for removing scratch scratches in glass, its simply to get contaminants off the windscreen that you cannot see and dont come off with a normal glass cleaner, such as stubborn waterspots tree sap etc.

The polish will remove light to medium hard water spots if working my hand (not a polisher or rotary). I have not tried using the polish with a dual action polisher or a rotary but doing so may be able to remove heavy water spots.

Depends on the weather and use of wiper blades and other things. Could last 6 months but I would say for most people it would only last about 3 or 4 months

Thats actually just a big patch of water that stays on the windshield, giving a false sense of cleanliness. If u'd look from the inside of the car, your vision would be totally blurred on the right side
