I'm shocked that I hadn't heard of this yet. Hans is one of my very few idols. It pains me greatly that he's passed away; he's a great communicator and he's been a great influence on my perspective and my participation in the political process. Rest in peace, sir. Thank you for leaving this world a better place than it was. At the very least, for me.

How he became such a good speaker? Enthusiasm. He believed so much in what he was talking about that the energy passed to the audience. You can't teach that, but you can see it when people engage in a topic they absolutely love. Hans loved educating. He will be missed.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Hans Rosling. His videos had a significant impact on my view of the world's population issues. I hope his family take solace in the fact that his was an amazing life, who had a real positive impact on the world. Something the vast majority of us can only dream of.

Nice little tribute! I was quite upset when I saw the headline about Hans Rosling's passing earlier this month. He was an inspiration to me and I followed his talks & presentations closely. His spirit lives on!

It's crazy, in school we learned about him and watched him and I always like his work and speeches, later when he died i heard that one of my friends closest friends live just besides his son. It's just weird how the world can seem so small sometimes...

He was over optimistic and ignored reality (do humans have a right to all the world's resources? No. We are just one species in the web of life.

Rosling wanted the world to be healthy that's why he (was killed) died
@cyberserk56143 жыл бұрын
I have the same suspicion about him being killed but for other reasons. Good news and realistic solutions for problems are bad for people who capitalize on bad news and for snake oil salesmen.
