I made this today and it is so amazing! So fragrant and tender, the whole family loves it! I did add a bit of garlic and a tiny dash of 5 spice powder to the braised mixture, the nice smell is out of this world! I even made the thinly sliced version for my dysphagia 73 y.o. father, and he totally loves it, he can eat it with no problem because the pork really melts in the mouth. I follow ur instruction and i like salty flavor but it is way too salty. I am sure it is because of the light and dark SoySauce brand i used. I am using ABC brand. I will buy good one and try again. ❤️❤️ As always thanks for sharing this recipe. Stay Safe n Stay Strong.
