The Stages of Grief thing is interesting, it's something I've been thinking about myself lately, because I've been experiencing it myself over the last 6 months to a year. I see a lot of people in angry sort of denial. Myself, I'm more trying to adapt to it, a sort of "resistance is futile, so how can I survive best as possible" kind of attitude (maybe I'm still at bargaining?). I think there's too much polarization, people are either all-in or totally against and that takes away from meaningful debate on the subject and anticipating the real dangers and difficulties. The people who are all-in laugh off the dangers and throw "everybody will get UBI, it will all be fine" at you (like it's a panacea), the people who are against it ridicule it, diminish it or demonize it. This is why I like your channel too, because you're more balanced out in your views, you're not trying to tell us how to think, like some other channels, you're trying to inform us and make us think about it ourselves. We should all have a say in this, it concerns the whole world.

LOL! Dubai might be pothole free in the near future, but in the US they're reported regularly by average humans and are typically just ignored. At best, they'll occasionally fill in a hole and turn it into an obnoxious bump instead. We're used to it. 🤣

I feel like the gymnastics videos could be a lot better if you first generate the 3d gymnast, generate animations, and then use a video of that as a controlnet for the video generation.

City of Gold Coast in Australia has had the road pothole etc detection a year already. Its commercially available ai software for a long time now. We also have same for sewage and storm water pipe inspections 😊 we rock

Hey bud! I asked Claude 3 a ton of questions concerning how it 'viewed' itself and recorded it's answers. I'll send it to you in the Forum. It's like, whoa... quite interesting and right in line with what you're saying in the video concerning time, and even what it would be viewed as, as a human the 'switching between 3d and 4d (time) what it would look like in our brain to witness it.I honestly believe you'll be VERY interested in what it said, Dylan. I think the problem is not really AI, AI is fuel for the root issue here, which IMO, is privacy, and that info they gather from us all this years, used against our will or benefit (take artist ongoing issue with AI as an example) in favor of their own (whatever makes them earn more is what they would use it for). Big Data was just the previous big thing that also was (as I see AI) not the root issue either.

I'm half way between depression to acceptance - hoping I'm completely wrong about AI and my kids will actually have a chance to thrive - but I know that for the first time in my life I won't be able to do a damn thing about it if I'm right. Plus as a life-long solutions guy, having zero solutions is a very uncomfortable position to be in.

With AI i am at "acceptance" and I see two scenarios, with my little one in mind: First it could be a tool like writing or the knowledge, that you have influence on what is happening in your head and with your life. Or second, most of us are already trapped today, and this primitive entertainment will be nothing compared to AI and it will be hell on earth.

1 you might have self driving cars in Vegas on the strip but not in the real world. 2 you will not have flying cars ,you would have to train as a pilot and have flight plans etc. 3. robots in the home are not coming anytime soon unless you think of these hoovers that go about 4 we are not going to Mars we cant even get back to the moon even with all this teK .5 We will have to use loads of energy to power these chip farms to find the answer to everything while all that money just could solve poverty in the world so hey ho ......you might find the answer to life...at what cost?

Of the amount of wealth in the world that is disproportionately organized is a huge problem. I mean, capitalism and democracy seem to do a better job than other systems but it’s nothing even close to what would make sense to an alien who is looking at earth for the first time
