Some context for 4:40: The "demon" is a reference to yhe "demon core". It's a sphere of plutonium, small enough so that it's own radioactivity wouldn't set off a chain reaction (subcritical). It was used in experiments to see how close to criticality (being able to sustain a chain reaction) it was using neutron reflectors, and in two of these experments something slipped and it went critical - delivering the operator a fatal dose of radiation each time, and probably others in the room had the operator not immediately disassembled the reflectors. After two of these criticality incidents, it was nicknamed "demon core", and eventually it was melted down.

True story: 45 to 50 yrs ago, the legal drinking age was 18, across the US. My HS friends and I would go to this lounge to drink and listen to live music, since I was 15 yo. The day I turned 18, we went to the lounge to celebrate, and the bartender carded me for the first time. He was shocked and exclaimed “you’ve been coming here for years and you just turned 18!” I shrugged and said Yes. 1:37 I have seen a test once where they used an accurately recreated armor the way it should be done (using hardenable steel specifically used for plate armor) against a real arming sword (hardened and sharpened). One wore the breastplate including the skirt thing of which I always forget the name and the other swung the sword at it at full strength. Thanks to the rounded shapes of the armor most of the force got deflected, and only a shallow dent was created. For this reason, swords usually had the tip or front half sharpened at that point in time. The only way to kill an armored opponent would be to hit them on their weak spots (the joints). The base of the sword didn't serve much purpose anymore as you simply cannot chop through armor anymore. This allows more comfortable use of the half-sword technique; one hand on the hilt, and one hand gripping the blade to allow for very precise control of the tip.
