That water rose extremely quickly this morning!! I had no clue we would be dealing with flooding till I woke up. Glad I was able to get the rig and truck outta there safely. Safe travels to all

This is the reason I never RV Camp next to a river bank. In Illinois Starved Rock State Park campground was on the river bank, it always flooded BADLY... Finally the State Park moved it's camping area to higher ground

Actually, when you're driving through water, you're supposed to maintain adequate speed so that your vehicle stays right behind the wave that it's creating. Otherwise, the wave will be. If you're going too fast, you'll run so that the wave is basically happening inside the engine compartment and you'll flood the engine. And if you go too far behind the wave because you're going too slow, you run the risk of getting stuck in the soft mud that's underneath the water you don't have enough momentum. He did exactly what he's supposed to do😅 Maybe he's a military guy. Everybody else watching the civilians think oh what a jerk. They just don't have the training that the military gives the average combat soldier😅
