I bet if someone in that insurance office catches it, they'll know exactly what it is and how it feels then.

Mine is 24/7 since 1982 but only had spinning a few times. Basically can't walk straight and bump into people and things a lot. Driving can be very scary and sometimes feels more like a video game than reality. Hard to explain.

I live in the UK, and was diagnosed with menieres 2 years ago. I don't drive or ride a motorcycle due to the unpredictability of attacks. I still work 3 10 hour nightshifts, and as long as I keep taking the pills can live a fairly "normal" life. In the UK, you just have to get on with it.

After long 3 years I finally got approved for my disability case , it's funny the first time that I got denied , a judge told me I was too young and because of my years of school I could easy find another job .I worked in a hospital for 29 years and after losing my hearing from both ears I was forced to resigned , plus the dizziness, vertigo that i had constantly , I'm a single father of two , and suddenly I see myself without a job and unable to lived a normal life , I forced to seek for some kind of financial help from the State , so finally after some paper I started receiving $ 480 a month Food Stamps . My Disability case was denied 3 times and I was living with $ 480 a month, who can live with that amount ???? Thanks God finally now I can finally breath 🙏🏼 . Good luck for many people that are going through with battle I was going through.

SSDI had denied me nine times. I just found out my hearing loss tinnitus and vertigo was caused by possible menieres but I also have BPD, MDD, social anxiety disorder, general anxiety disorder, polycystic ovarian disease, Obstructive sleep apnea with oxygen loss, high blood pressure, arthritis in my lower spine, plantar fasciitis and a bad right knee. All this and I get told Nine Times "I can Adapt"! Try helping with that case mr. Lawyer sir! Phhhhh

I was diagnosed with bilateral MD about 2 years ago although I know I've had it for a very long time just did not know what it was. I have lost my low frequency hearing in both ears and my ENT told me to start preparing then. Well, I have managed to keep on working and trying to live as normal as possible but I cannot do it anymore. I was diagnosed while at the same job I am still with now. I pay for LTD and wonder if I am eligible to receive it if my doctor writes me out. I am going to see him Wednesday and they will check my hearing again but I plan on telling him that I cannot work anymore. Can I get LTD?

I have had dozens of Drs look at me and all are in agreement. I have tinnitus and ear fullness and collapsed ear drum... I think its a severe allergy.. to "Dairy" OR Acid reflux going into your estuation tube. My doctor refuses to treat me.. as she knows nothing about it, she keeps sending me to specialists. THe fight goes on with this "thing" that is rotting out my life energy!!!! Just finding a Dr to CARE is hard enough!!!! My diagnosis is ANXIETY....go figure.

You should consult with an ENT that has a sub specialty in allergies.

Do you know of any lawyers in Toronto, Canada that have worked with meniere's clients?

My dizziness started March 1979 and not a day has passed that I haven't been dizzy in these 35 or so years, doctors finally said it was chronic vertigo about 15 years ago.Since then I've had 2 checkups a year and on 3 meds. I'm now applying for ssi since i've never been able to work.....Do I have a chance?
@DisabilityAttorneys11 жыл бұрын
You definitely have a chance from a medical standpoint, but whether you qualify for disability insurance benefits will depend on the language in your disability policy.

My sister is 32 years old and she has suffered from meniere disease for years and she always complains to me that I had to bought her Dr Madida herbs I saw on KZbin and she is telling me last month that she is cured completely and don’t long have the symptoms like vertigo or dizziness, feeling of fullness in the ear or ringing, hearing loss, imbalance, motion sickness, nausea, or nystagmus

What are the herbs called ? I suffer from this 🥺.

The closed captioning is terrible: "many years disease" and "New Year's disease"? Given that Meniere's causes hearing loss, closed captioning is important to get right for this video.

I live in the UK and I find it impossible to find a solicitor who has experience representing persons with Meniere's Disease. Does anyone know where in London I can find someone to represent me?
@robertpewsey89313 жыл бұрын
Did you have any luck finding a solicitor to represent you? I also live in the UK and have had menieres for a couple of years. I've looked into disability benefits, but menieres isn't covered although it is considered a disability. My work place is no longer paying me for any time taken off due to attacks. I've had to stop driving, cycling and motorcycling. It's a life changeing condition no one has heard of.

I Gregory, I have these symptoms ringing in my ears that drive me crazy and some times losing my balance or spinning, I haven't seen a doctor yet but making an appointment can I qualify for SSD ??
@DisabilityAttorneys9 жыл бұрын
You may be eligible for SSDI if you have sufficient work credits, but that does not necessarily mean the SSA will approve your claim. You will need to consult with a Social Security attorney. Please feel free to contact our office and we can assist you in contacting one.

My symptomS worsen 4/5 days befor full moon and the day itself .The hearing goes like when in an airoplane , vision isn't correct (sometimes double) kind of dizzyness, heart pulsations , stomach problems
@eastbaysf7 жыл бұрын
I had this too.. symptom's.. double vision is possibly neck stiffness and acid reflux (stomach issues) (stress induced).. I have been told its allergies and taken tons of steroids and medications. RAIN and weather changes make it worse..Dizziness is common with this issue..Rushing water sounds and ringing when stressed or angry. I take nothing anymore and just go to bed and sleep. THe medications all have side effects.

I've been undiagnosed for 28 years now. Extreme dizziness, tinnitus, etc daily. No episodes per se. I've been gainfully employed all those years with jobs that 'cushioned me'...ie..one person office., flexible schedule. I am finding it extremely difficult going in to office now that there are 5 of us in there. The noise level, chaos is just overwhelming to my senses! Do I Have a leg to stand on to file for disability? Do I actually have to quit the job and ultimately lose my insurance to show I am unable to work 40 hrs/week? I have functioned on FEAR for 20 years. If I don't work, I am homeless. Now I suffer from extreme anxiety/depression as well. Doctors around here are clueless and I can't afford to travel trying to find a diagnosis. I wouldn't know where to begin anyway. =/

If you do have long term disability insurance coverage through your employer or under a privately purchased policy then you could make a claim for benefits. That being said, making a claim is no guarantee of receipt of benefits or that the insurance company will pay you benefits through the maximum benefit period. Some policies will limit any claims that are based on "subjective complaints" to a period of two years, or even worse deny the claim outright without a firm diagnosis and support from your doctors. Please feel free to contact our office to discuss your options further. I would also recommend you obtain from your HR department a copy of any disability policy you are covered under.
@ElaineO10 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your reply. I only have supplemental Short Term Disability, which would kick in if I were to have any kind of surgery...but without knowing what the problem is, that's not an option right now.

The healing rate of my Tinnitus the very first time I apply and use Dr Madida medicine gave me a good impression that it is gonna work and it did work because right now I don't longer experience Tinnitus Effects anymore that I use to experience because the conditions is completely gone.
