I am a new follower. Just got into the nursing program and have been going over the NCLEX-RN book and noticed some of the things you mentioned. How answers that require them to elaborate are the answer. You have such great tips, thankful to have found your page!

If you have two exams on one day, how do you make enough time to study for both tests?
@KristenWaldorf3 жыл бұрын
Jaylah King Oh no two exams in one day... In my program, my professors make sure we do not have more than one exam in one day due to the amount of work you have to put into studying for an exam. I have not experienced this myself, but if I was presented with this situation, I would make sure I study a little bit everyday for each class and not wait till the last minute before both exams. You could easily break up studying blocks by subject each day or study for each class every other day. While you are studying, make sure to do practice questions, so at least you are actively engaging yourself in the material. Try your best to get ahead if you can and maybe form some study groups so you all can hold yourselves accountable for keeping up with the material. I hope this is helpful to you 🙂

How many practice questions would you do a day that helped you perform well on exams? Taking med surg, pharm, and mental health 😅 this semester
@KristenWaldorf2 жыл бұрын
Hey Marlyse 🙂 It’s not the quantity that’s matters, but the quality of how you study and make sure you are truly understanding the information. I would do probably anywhere from 5 - 25 a day with a little more before test time. Just do a little everyday to keep yourself practicing.

Why did u have to take med surg , pharm, mental health and adult care in the summer

I am currently in an accelerated nursing program and my program has my classes already decided for me each semester. As a student, I did not get to choose and that was the schedule I was given to me. It was the most difficult semester by far!!

What chapstick are you using now?
@KristenWaldorf3 жыл бұрын
Just using the usual!

@@KristenWaldorf you need to do a video talking about the importance of chapstick. It’s very underrated as a nurse...I’m guessing. Even the little things count often times

Hey Daniel, I’m sorry to hear about your experience... With my ethics degree, I hope to continue making sure that quality care is provided to patients! I also hope you never have to experience that kind of care again.
