This week we cover the brand-new Mercedes E53 AMG and we properly development the world's first chip tuning for it. The Mercedes E53 has a turbocharged mild-hybrid straight-six engine. The new inline six is coupled with a an electric motor, a twin-scroll turbo, and an electric compressor.

Looks only like a +18HP increase from stock? Peak HP with Racechip is 493 and stock peak is 475....That's very poor results.

Stock car was over 470hp and 560 Nm. Your box can make 493hp and 652Nm. On your websetie you promise +59hp and +132Nm. The real power what the car got on the video was +20hp and 90Nm. Why lying???????

Sam Cao I wrote about the dyno graphic. 😉 Iknow the stock car data is 435 ps and 520Nm . Please see the dyno graphic on the video. The STOCK car on the video is more powerfull than 435ps.

@@zr9144 Dude you have got more learning to do.... ALL CARS ARE RATED AT THE ENGINE ON A STAND OUTSIDE OF THE CAR! 430HP is the RATING AT THE CRANKSHAFT! There is a standard 15%-30% drivetrain loss depending if its 2wd or 4wd. When a car is rated at 430hp it will "only" put down Around 380hp to the wheels at best. SO Yes he gained 100hp.Since car is underrated slightly he went From around 390Hp to 490hp...

Ich würde die Box für meinen E53 sofort bestellen aber so richtig überzeugt bin ich nicht. Der Motor ist ja nun schon etwas außergewöhnlich. Besonders im Bezug auf E Turbo und E Motor. Da hättet Ihr ruhig etwas mehr drauf eingehen können. Welche rolle spielt denn der ich nenns mal pauschal E-Boost bei Eurer Messung. Ihr gebt an GTS Black 59 PS +43kW +132 Nm. Auf dem Prüfstand müsste der Wagen in Serie laut Mercedes 435 PS plus 21 PS E-Boost also 456PS haben. Meine eigentliche Frage , habt Ihr nun die Leistung mit Racechip gemessen und die 21 PS E-Boost abgezogen wie es Mercedes in seinen Angaben auch macht ? oder habe ich am Ende tatsächlich knapp über 490 PS zuzüglich 21 PS E-Boost ? Vielen Dank im Voraus .

PIE DEE der Elektromotor hat eine andere Drehmomentkurve als der verbrenner. Der Verbrenner hat seine 435 Ps bei 6100U/min. Bei dieser Drehzahl ist die Leistungs-/Drehmomentkurve des E-Motors auf ein vernachlässigbares Niveau gesunken .... der E-Motor liefert seine Power hauptsächlich in den unteren Drehzahlen

@@silberdavidem korrekt... nur leider kann der E Motor sofern genug Strom vorhanden ist auch bei Vollgas, also Prüfstandsmessung, über ein paar Sekunden seine vollen 22PS übertragen. Man muss die Anzeige im Tacho beachten um ganz sicher zu sein....

@Rodrigo Cortes We're no huge fans of 0-100 km/h measurements because there are a lot of external influences on those times (e.g. cold or wet road, driver skills, …). That's why we focus on 100-200 km/h times in our measurements.

Well that sounds like There isn’t any improvement on the 0-60 time if they don’t want to talk about it. I don’t see any differences of external factors between this and running it on a 0-60 time.
