Hi there, I’m currently fixing my c320 v6. Same job. Im just a bit worried about the clean on the block.! Is it safe to do what you’re doing.? Is there not a chance of something falling further down?

Thanks for reply very much appreciated. Fingers crossed lol that car you was working on, all good after job.?

@@Lifeofpabbies Yes, the ML350cdi I did the job on is running perfect. Make sure to clean intake manifold and valve ports as it will improve your fuel economy and power. The owner could not be happier and has covered over 10k miles so far with no more oil leaks

Well tackled. This isn’t any easy job especially on an Ml! It’s a back breaker. Well done.

It means a lot coming from a MB specialist with 20 years of experience. It was my 1st Oil cooler job and I didn't know what to expect. Very tall and hard to get to the back but got there in the end. Thank you for having a look at my channel and for the positive feedback🤝🏻

Thanks for your reply, you are to far for me anyway I’m near Stansted airport, I can do this myself but since I had cancer it’s very difficult for me to bend my back it gives me so much pain if I bend it for more than a minute.

This has to be the best om642 oil cooler repair video on youtube. Wow great work. May I ask you which product did you use to clean the valves? Not the intake manifold but really the valves
@TheKeenMechanic8 ай бұрын
Hi I used brake cleaner to clean the valves and ports. I used compressed air and a few soft brass brushes to help me clean it to the bare metal. Thanks for the compliment🤝🏻 I have the full detailed video on the channel in case you want to see torque specs and more detailed tips kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYLWqJWVZ5hpobc

What an amazing video! I will watch the full step by step video. I'm thinking of getting the 2011 S350 V6 CDI with the exact same motor OM642, since I want to learn how to fix cars and also have an S class :). The 52min step by step video will help termendously! Hope you will continue making OM642 DIY-videos as I will surely need the videos haha
