@@MercedesPollmeier I found out about you through your Nugget podcast. You mentioned that you didn't have much mobility content up on KZbin at the time so perhaps Steve could link to you now on Instagram or the like because your channel would be useful to a lot of people. All the best

Super! Very handy as always, thank you! Small suggestion (I know, very subjective, but here it is anyway): no music. A little more elaborate in case you want to read it: is music inducer of emotions and state of mind? (I would say yes). Well, in this case I had to mute the video (missing your very interesting comments) because I'm following it on a bright and sunny morning where that music (which to me it sounds very mildly epic with a little sadness and melancholy and a little plastic-ish) was dragging my feelings into that state, instead of my positive, calmly energetic and connected state of mind that I have right now. I know this is really subjective, but every person is going to feel slightly different things, maybe I'm too sensible to the emotional side of music or maybe not. What is undeniable is that it is an "imposed" state of mind. If your video doesn't have music and I want it, I only have to play some (chosen by me) while watching it. Super easy fix (at least on the computer). But the contrary is impossible. Take this post as a positive way of explaining the point of view of one of your readers, of course totally respectful to your good work. And of course there are so many videos with this (for me) "problem", including (specially!!) climbing videos. :)

I appreciate this feedback :) Music and words have an impact on everyone in some way. I generally put music with no words when possible, and to cover up the heavy noise from all the planes that fly overhead, which could be jarring to hear as well. Do YT captions work well for you? I could explore more visual cues so that folks can mute the video whenever they like.

I think a bit of music is fine. Complete silence in a video can feel a bit awkward. In this case it might have been a smidge too "exciting and dancy" and maybe a bit too loud in the mix. A cool thing others do (e.g. the lattice training flexibility follow alongs) is to lower the volume of the music while they are speaking, avoiding the competition of both.
