That ship actually has a really nice interior for a freighter. I'm surprised they're not using that interior for missions that involve boarding freighters. I always wished they would update freighter interiors as part of a wave of remasters and it turns out they have one already, they're just not using it.

The Amarie interior was created for a Lock box ship.... the Amarie. It used to be exclusive to that ship.

You also visited the quartermaster with a Ferengi. One of their traits is cheaper vendor commodities. So people without a Ferengi may not see the same low prices

Though honestly it's not what THE SHIP can do in a TFO it's how many of your special consoles you can cram on it. Which means the ship is really immaterial. That's kind of my beef with universal consoles being the end all be all of what DPS is.

Purely from an æsthetic POV, I like the doors and the sounds for them along with the ambiance. Took me straight back to 'Heart of Glory' with the Batris (yes for everyone who would say, I'm very aware it's a different model/ship than that, but that isn't the point here). I kept hearing in the back of my head "hell this ship would kick so much ass with Merculite rockets!" lol Great video though, looking forward to getting it unlocked and traipsing around with it on one of my extra toons. I'm thinking maybe when they get the bugs fixed, a Klingon....with rockets... ;)

Amarie bridge quartermaster never sold commodities for KDF, so I think a fix is unlikely, I quickly tired of the layout after unlocking the Amarie with Mudds, preferring the SCS bridge as my “mobile starbase” on all my characters (although I sometimes board my “Frosted Boots” Tuffli bridge). The 2 hour cd on the Security Transport has been easily reset for several years by switching ships/ground map entry/boarding bridge. I think the Transwarp malfunctioning on freighters ended a few years ago if I’m not mistaken, and I use it often on many characters.

no, it is from the old Anne Marrie Smuggler T6 ship from infinity box. The ship comes from a great TNG episode where it fought the Enterprise D.

I really like the design/look of that ship & wish so much that we could use this ship skin on our T6 ships. Jeez a 2 hour cooldown seems extreme. Will the Merchantman be the new Malon? Almost 800k dps with a T4 isn't anything to be ashamed about imo.

Looks awesome, I can't wait to pick it up! Sorry if you answered already, how does it differ from the Suliban CS? Haven't used either yet. One observation though - In ST III it was smaller than a BOP, but with this interior it's almost comically spacious 😆

Suliban Cell Ship interior is much better. It's a single small room with some unique doff missions that can get doffs from the rom survivor doff pack.

I still do the cluster doff missions and break the purples down to blues. And you still did more DPS than the average player in a T4 :)

I think its fun every ones in a while to use a low tier ship in an Elite TFO. I constantly used my T5 Malon Trashcarrier also called a Battlecruiser for that. T4 a bit more of a challenge but I think I end up still putting out more DPS then most pugs in their T6 ships unfortunately.

The Kobiashi Maru we got from an event has the full ship selector. Just so y'all know there is no need to spend millions on the cell or tuffli. I put that bridge on all my ships I actually use.

one of the OLDEST bugs in the game... is Fed side. admittedly it's technically cosmetic... but it's still there... and has been there ever since they added Star Fleet Academy to the game. This being the bug where the Bridge officer that talks to you when you hit the button to go to sector space... has the wrong picture/name combination.

For an experienced player wanting to do it as a challenge, should be doable. For someone just getting into the game, better to stick to better ships.

What I find odd about being given this ship. The playable Kobayashi Maru is already statted and modelled in the game. With an older version of the interior, seen on the Azure and other old freighters. Why not just add the Maru and KDF version back in as the prize. Add the prisoner Transport as a bound console. So no messing around with stats. This just seems like a waste of resourse's to make a brand new model and stats.

you can get any bridge/ship interior if you own the ship. So the amswer is YES you can use it. It is an old interior from an old T6 ship Anne Marie Smuggler.

oi made a video on that... The Tuffli interior isn't cross faction, Fed and KDF versions exist and normally you'd only get the one matching you, BUT with the way they made bridges swappable.. you can get the wrong one now.
