Good Day Andre and Dominica Ironically, this is a 180-degree turn from her first song "Different Drum". 4 other Linda songs that can go well in this story of love are "I Can't Get Over You", "Cuando Me Querias Tu" (When I was Loved by You or When you Loved Me), "How Do I Make You", and "I Can't Help it (If I'm Still in Love with You". This is considered by most music critics and fans to be her most Iconic, powerful, and emotional songs. Though it has been a cover song for many female and male artists, no one has come even close to singing it as impactful and deeply felt as Linda. Another sign of her great voice.

Linda was 24 at that time. Her first solo hit and first Grammy nomination. She worked very hard on each song, the phrasing (when to breath), the accents on the words, the volume of each word. She is an amazing artist. Thanks for the video. Have a nice night. ☮🧡🎶

This is such a great old song written by Gary White. Linda did the original recording of it, and I have heard the song by 2 other woman. Who both did a fabulous job with the song with the song. Which is often not the case. Melanie (Safka) and Mindy McCready both gave emotional readings of the song.

I was a very young boy when this was hitting the radio. That was a long,long time ago. My young heart felt every word, and I was so inexperienced in everything she was singing about, but I still felt it all. She is an amazing person and originally frome my home state of Arizona.❤😎

This song makes me cry every time I hear it. Linda is one of my all time fave vocalists. Wow, I didn't think that Bobby Darin was still alive at this point. Just got one of his CDs today but haven't listened to it yet. Love him on guitar! You reacted to his "Mack The Knife" recently

Such a sad, beautiful song sung by the most exquisite voice on the planet. A very difficult song to sing and she performs it flawlessly. This particular performance is unique because it is the only live version I have ever seen that has the complete song! Every other television performance cuts out an entire verse. I remember hearing her say that when she had to stop performing she could still hit the notes to sing the melody but could no longer do the things vocally to make it interesting. I thought that was very profound and shows the difference in how a great singer thinks from the rest of us who would be satisfied with singing the melody in tune.

The live version from the Johnny Cash show is so much better with timing and instruments closer to the studio version. There also was a missing verse here due to TV programming time.

I hate that the 3rd verse was not sung here. It's beautiful and really nails the song. As usual though Linda was great here. IF she sang this to me I would run away with her too. I loved Linda since 1965, first time I heard her.

A suggestion: It’s another song similar to this one in the messaging, and just as beautiful. The singer is named Bonnie Raitt, the song is called, I Can’t Make You Love Me. Beautiful melody, beautiful piano and beautiful vocals. I strongly recommend it for one of your reaction videos. I know you reacted to this song sung by Teddy Swims, but the original was done by Bonnie Raitt, and, in my opinion, is the best version. You can decide for yourself. Hope you can fit it in. I agree 100%. Some make fun of the "corny" Copacabana, but in all reality, if he wasn't singing a song, the song you were hearing was written by him. Great suggestion!

Linda is the only singer I compare to Lucy Thomas both impressed me immensely from the first time I heard them. Linda in 1967 Lucy in 2021. Linda had a career over 40 years long singing 6 different styles and succeeding in every one awards and recognition 100 000 000 records sold and liked and admired by her fellow performers and audiences and by every one who met her a true icon..
