Thanks for taking us flying with you N727DP. Mountains over Aspen is pure tranquility, even on a shaky camera😋.

Being a corporate pilot seems really nice! I'm sure there are pros and cons vs being an airline pilot but I like how it seems a bit more relaxed and where you have a chance to have bigger influence on many things

Not to be a party pooper, but the SA227 is a Metroliner, not a Merlin.

Actually, a SA227 at IV is the Merlin - the Metro is the larger version, has bigger motors, needs a type rating (it's heavier).

What was the pumping of the controls on landing about?

LOL - yeah, a technique he used. On the Merlins, you really needed to keep flying them to the ground. As you get slower the elevator becomes less effective, and sometimes "pumping" allowed for a little better control.

Why do they turn lights off on landing in dark

For better visibility as your eyes will adapt to the darkness of the outside, and in the event of any emergency evacuation, you can see better as to where you're going.
