You’re the best! I mean that sincerely. I got up and saw this released and knew by the end of work, you would be on this like donkey kong, so I could learn it from the best. 6:58 A quick way to find a good frame is to select the Neutral Pose in the tree view, press F and then hold Alt while dragging to orbit around it. And after click on Identity Solve you can click on the A|B buttons on top to preview the results directly in the viewport

I'm so happy you uploaded this! Just found your channel yesterday and will be binging for a while lol. I do have a question, I seem to be unable to import FBX into UE5. I have no import dialogue and I just get a failed to import message. I tried to do File --> Import to Level but that did not bring in the model just a blank empty dumb thing.

Where is the FBX coming from ? (DAZ etc)

@@Jobutsu Oh I should have said! It was from Daz I was following what you were doing in this video. I got it working. One thing I noticed was I was trying to select all and export while still in "Geometry Editor". I think this was the issue so no geometry was exporting to FBX format. Once I switched back to regular selection tool and selected for export everything worked. Thank you again for your efforts on this channel. Learning alot!

You do not have to remove the body. I did it here so I could give emphasis to the fact I was creating a MetaHuman head. Glad you got it working, happy creating !

I have maybe a bit stupid question but for me it is quite essential. How to make gimbal visible and move face inside mesh to metahuman? I would be glad.

Great tutorial. Question, how did you remove the eyelashes in Daz?

Just deleted them. There should be a node called "genesis 8 Eyelashes" or something.

@@Jobutsu Thank you. I realize that Genesis 3 doesn't have eyelashes separated. So I converted G3 to G8 and that worked.

Are you able to adjust the height in centimeters? Also length of the limbs?

After I updated UE 5.0.2, I found that all METAHUMAN characters, controlled by LIVELINK, when opening their mouths or speaking, their facial expressions are wrong and their mouths are crooked. 5.0.1 did not appear before, can it be calibrated? Or fix bugs? thanks

This... IS INSANE... Is this what you were referring to in my comment on the other video? I can take basically ANY head and Metahumanize it this way? Does it work with Stylized heads? Bodies? SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!!!

Your mileage may vary but anything that resembles a human face may work

I tried a couple of stylized ones last night, and it doesn’t handle bigger than usual eyes very well at all, you basically have to adjust them back to be smaller which defeats the purpose for me.

@@7_of_1 Yeah, eyes are not being fitted at the moment so you might see weird things, but they can be adjusted in MHC

Make sure the LiveLink plugin and Arkit plugin are enabled in the project.

Or... Create a character in CC4 and then convert it to a rigged Metahuman. I have been working on scars and dirt etc in CC4, that cannot be done with this yet.
