Do you think I could bypass blender by using zbrush instead? I'm far more adept at Zbrush sculpting than blender as a whole.

It should work as long as you set up live link correctly

Probably because you didn’t apply the morph in blueprint or didn’t bake it to the mesh if you are using Mesh Morpher.

I achieved it using Mesh Morpher and tweaking Control Rig Face in UE

Mesh Morpher is still available, but on a standalone website, it's no longer available in the UE marketplace unfortunately, so you would have to purchase and install from their official website.

Hmm that may be a bit more complex as you may have to transfer weight paints of a mask from a face in another program like Maya or Blender.
