Metal Detecting WW2 - GERMAN HELMETS - SS TAGS and MORE! [ HUGE WWII DUMP DISCOVERED ] - PART 4

Hello everyone! :D
Yes, it's time for a new video again!
We found a lot more CRAZY stuff in the dump hole... Helmets.. dog tags.. and a lot more personal equipment!
I hope you like this video, more awesome finds coming soon!! :D
Important to know:
This wasn't a grave, this is a dump hole made by U.S. soldiers. they stripped deceased German soldiers, and dumped all their stuff in a big hole.
The original owners of the items are all resting in peace, and the items are handled with respect.
Finds like these are important, Historical items such as these must be preserved.
We can't just let them rot away.. the items are in good hands, and will never be sold!
We don't care about money, we care about History, and the brave soldiers who fought and died in WWII.
We pay our respects to preserve their stories, and the items they left behind!
Rest in peace, all soldiers who died in WW2!
Why do the dog tags look like U.S. tags?
The dog tags found in the videos are U.S. dog tags made by U.S. soldiers for deceased German soldiers.
These tags were made by the GRS ( Grave Registration Service ) and were used on temporary grave markers.
What i found is a medical waste dump pit with equipment of KIA German soldiers.
These tags are extremely rare to find!

Great Finds, I found at Saturday 2 Us Dog Tags in the Hürtgen Forest behind the Front in a us tent camp. I look at nara field search. He survied the war. I think he lost her or the tetanus vaccine was over it. When the soldiers got new dog tags, they threw the old ones away.

You would definitely benefit from using a trowel and some dental tools. This is awesome WW2 archaeology . I’ve seen you find some medieval items as well so the dental tools would help from excavating those carefully. As well as some delicate WW2 finds.

With so much Stuff buried in this 1 spot, I would think that the processing station was right there in that field. Someone had to dig a big hole to throw all of that stuff in, so I wouldn't think it was too far away from where they were taking it off. Looking forward to the next one Buddy.

Do you think the M16 was a re-issued helmet for WW2? I have seen photos of them with WW2 Heer decals

Overwhelming finds ! ;-) That WW1 helmet is..."insane"... it could indicate the 'presence' of Volkssturm or another 'faction' that fought "under the german (SS ?!) flag"... I think the restoration of those helmets will be...not a easy work at all...the rust/corrosion looks very thick, so...after a vinegar "bath"...it will remains...not so much... ;-( Maybe the weather (of the time when the german equipment was thrown in the "trash dump"...) was 'bad'...rainy / mud..., so...after so many decades in that soil... ;-( Even the K98k pouch could give us some informations about...what was/happened there/then (of course, after a very careful cleaning...)...
