Agree with you 100%. Heard a lot of people who don't like their new stuff saying shit like, 'Bring Me the Architects', but the irony is, both bands are S tier bands, who constantly change up their sounds for the better! Stoked for the new album.
@joedavies6364

The only reason they say that is because it is following a similar formula. Converting to a radio friendly sound. Evolution or devolution of sound? Personal preference I guess

People often forget that both bands are influenced by one another. Oli started using Sam’s screaming technique back in There Is A Hell, but both bands are best friends so I don’t mind the comparison. I just love sound change when it’s creative and passionate in either band. I also loved Amo when it came out 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just don't unterstand why people keep fighting about something like this. They move on as a band and try to find a new sound, which is very intuitive, as the person who was mainly responsible for their old sound passed away sadly. So, obviously, if you fell in love with the band for what they sounded like, you may or may not like the new direction. Either would be very subjective and totally fine. Hence, I wouldn't say they "changed up their sounds for the better", because it is just different and subject to personal preference. On the other hand, people will drop comments and comparing bands to BMTH regardless of whether there actually is somthing about it or not. So I really don't get why so many people immediately jump on comments like this and are so "angry" about it.

@@lolrumbuutu When i said 'change up for the better', i didn't mean stylistically. I agree with you, that is totally objective, and actually as someone who prefers heavier stuff, i probably still listen to both bands older stuff more frequently anyway. I meant that their change in sound was for the better because change is always great! and sadly Architects circumstances as a band meant they had to. Anyway, this song is beautiful!

This is what I want from architects, a more mature sound maybe. I’m not a teenager anymore I’m not gonna be upset by hearing my favorite band on the radio, I wish them all the success they get. The reason this new sound is so great for them: I had literally never listened or even heard of Architects before Animals. I'm not a huge metal fan, don't particularly like a lot of screaming in music, but I kept getting suggested Animals on youtube so I figured it must be similar to other music I have listened to. Clicked on it and was blown away. Same with Black Lungs and now this song. I'm someone who never would have listened to their old stuff but I'm constantly playing one of their new singles. You should want a band to grow and gain new fans. If they're enjoying doing this kind of sound and it's working for them, that could never be a bad thing.

Holy shit man you're speaking absolute truth. I whole heartedly agree about their heavy "blegh" sound and the fact that it needed to go. It's also why I agree the slightly more "generic" sound they're absolutely killing right now with these new tracks is landing so well. It's emotionally heavy, musically tight and completely new. Don't even get me started on how they bust planets open with their orchestral side that kicks in on many of their tracks to elevate them to a level that in my opinion is untouchable. No other band does emotion in metal like these boys do. *slow claps* Bravo gentlemen. Thanks for the reaction.

I respectfully can’t agree with people’s criticism of the new tracks. Architects had this planned even when Tom was alive. This was a direction they had always intended to go down because Tom had spent years envisioning a new sound for them that mixed all the elements that make them great. They haven’t watered down their sound to be radio friendly, I believe that they’re bringing Tom’s idea to life with guitars that are still heavy but provide a melody as an undertone to the aggression, vocals that burst with emotion and allow Sam to fully demonstrate what he’s capable of with Josh and Adam backing him up. Everything they have released so far for the new album I have loved because I for one love it when bands go through an evolution and don’t stick to the formula that made them a success. Great reaction as always dude! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I am jamming into Ken Mode, Converge and other hardcore or old metalcore music and i just don't feel anything, when hearing Architects. I really dig the brass sections in the chorus, gives off an epic, orchestral sound. But i kinda miss the angry energy in the new songs a little bit - also Dans drumming got kind of more linear, I really loved his parts on AOGHAU :/ I guess after all the screaming Sam did all these years its exciting to experiment with clean vocals - and you gotta give it to him, he nails that!I also love the layering of Adams and Joshs vocals on top of Sams main voice - really well composed. But al lin all better than Black lungs, might tie with Animals imo - really excited for the new album :D

It's not heavy but the sound and the energy is just so so huge. This album reminds of Starset in that sense. Even their softest songs have a shit tonne of energy pushing them at some point. Yeah, thats something great about Architects. For example, the last time I sae BMTH live, two years ago, they played only 2-4 Sempiternal/TTS songs, the rest were all from AMO. I know thay theyve come back their old style, but during that era it felt like they were neglecting their old fanbase. With Architects? You still hear These Colours Dont Run, Gravedigger, Broken Cross, etc being major hits of their sets. They dont play stuff older than that, and I understand it them having 8 albums. But you still have a bit of that part of Architects.

Please react to the two New Songs "Terra Firma" and "Petrichor" by the band Artemis Rising. 🔥🔥🔥 They started a new Chapter with their Singer. The band is based in germany in a small town in loser saxony and they deserves much more reach and attention. These guys gave so much fire power and passion! ❤🔥 By the way I love your reactions! ❤😘😎💪🎸

Please check these 2 newer tracks, please. You won't be disappointed. Devil sold his soul - beyond reach. From sorrow to serenity - shadows. The former are very unique. Original vocalist left for personal reasons then rejoined, but of course they couldn't fire the new guy (the lad is also the singer for the arusha acord) so now they have 2 singers. And it works beautifully. The latter have at least one if not more members of bleed from within and yeah thats all I need to say on that one.

Amazing ambience and emotion, vocals could be a little clear. Little hard to work out at times.
