Interesting Metaldoggo, I always am confused when people talk about most deathcore being like Lorna Shore. I would beg to differ because most deathcore I hear is usually like hardcore & beatdown stuff. That could be because that’s my favorite style of deathcore. I’m also hearing a lot of resurgence of the old school deathcore sound.

Yea imagine that breakdown with any screams. I like Travis but i dont like how his vocals are so quiet and hard to hear a lot of the time. There’s no replacing Dan. While I think Travis is a solid vocalist I think his vocals on this track just lacked variety. The one thing that makes Dan a legend is how he has such variety through out the track. He goes from highs to lows at the flip of a switch. There wasn’t that variety in this track from a vocal stand point. The ending breakdown with the lows was really the only point where we heard those lows that I wish were more prevalent through out the track. I personally think the track was just a bit too long and dragged a little bit for me. The Chosen is still IMO one of the best metal albums to come out in several years so I hope EE can follow that up and I’m interested to see what else is to come. Overall the track is a good start. That breakdown though is just absolutely insane!
