Yeah, I think you got it. She is country. Having a Twang (many of these people not being from the south) doesn’t qualify you as making “country” music. She wants us to forget the labels and make and enjoy art, no matter your race or where you come from. In this album she uses a lot of elements from country and blends genres. I love how the songs have many angles (double - and maybe more entendres). You might find it a fun listen(s). I’ll certainly watch out for videos if you do post! Thanks!
