I'm so glad you reacted to this! In all my 56 years, and the many, many concerts I've attended, this show, January 24, 2019, at The Whisky a GoGo and, more specifically, this song, is at the very top of my favorite musical experiences. They played this song at the end of an incredible 22 song set, as a special thanks to the man who spearheaded puuting on the show. He had purchased the private show during The Warning's Kickstarter campaign, which raised money to produce their second LP, "Queen Of The Murder Scene"; a masterpiece of a concept album, rivaling all others, like "The Wall", and "Tommy", etc.. Every time I see this video, I am transported back to that night, and the utter astonishment that overcame us all, as the first chords of "Atlas Rise" rang out. The Warning is a legendary band.

The very first time they performed this song it was in their basement (The Warning Cave) and they learned it in like 2 days after first hearing it. They were 17, 15 and 12 at the time.

@@sb859 🤣 Both Whisky and Whiskey are correct when discussing the drink, but the spelling tells you where it's produced. In a nutshell, the name is based on factors such as the type of cereal grain used in the distilling process as well as how and where it was produced. It is generally spelled “whiskey”-with an e-in the United States and Ireland. It is spelled “whisky”-without the e-in Scotland and Canada, which are both well known for their whisk(e)y, and in several other countries. In other words, for the drink the spelling does not depend on *WHERE* you are, but rather where the specific liquid is *PRODUCED.* In the case of *Whisky a GOGO* the *ONLY* thing that *MATTERS* is what the venue is named. It has *NOTHING* to do with _"Spelling" of a drink._

The Warning have to date sold out the 8000 capacity Pepsi center in Mexico City. They have sold out a future show in a much larger venue for next February, again in Mexico. In Europe, on their headlining gigs, they have played at the same size venues they are playing currently in the US. They have some gigs planned at larger venues in the 2-4000 seat range, unsure if those have sold out or not. I saw them in a jam packed and rocking Rams Head live in Baltimore that holds 1500.

That girl can drum. Yeah, even Kirk Hammett said that about Pau. This concert got them an open invitation to play at The Whiskey whenever they wanted. As for big. Sadly, the US is full of pop influenced pap. They are slowly getting noticed, but even established metal bands have it hard here. The Warning sold out The Masquerade here in Atlanta, a 1500 seat venue (postponed due to Helene), but Jinjer and Born of Osiris are playing a 1200 seat venue. The US kinda sucks for anything not rap, pop, or country that's not been around 30+ years. ❤️⚡🤘 See you near the pit (too damn old to get in now, but fond memories)!

The Warning is a cult band and they have fans all over the world. It is just a matter of time before they become huge mega stars. They have been playing music since they were very little when they started with the piano and learned classical music from there they progressed to their current instruments. This is a deep rabbit hole and you have a long journey.

This was a special encore after their regular encores in a two hour set. You betcha they were ready to get outta there. These are some of the hardest working people in rock. They played the Pepsi Center, Mexico City, in late October of 2023 for their tenth anniversary concert. 23 songs, AT 7350 feet above sea level, WITH the flu... and killed it. Check out those songs, as they are released just now, on their channel.

No, let's go there. Pau is a better drummer, and she can sing while being a better drummer. The issue, no Ale to keep her in check if she took Lar's place. I mean, I love seeing James yell at Lars, but the sisterly connection between Ale and Pau is amazing. Ale, like James, is the real timekeeper.
