I never liked how Jason played those songs. He is a great bass player but he played with a pick and for Cliff songs, that didn't work for me. I enjoy Roberts playing more because it just sounds like Metallica. Love the 90's stuff so no hate against Jason

All 3 were excellent and served their purposes in their own way. Jason was unstoppable in his time with the band. Rob is an incredible performer and has style and technique for days. Cliff was the true spirit of their early material though. He was just another level.

My high school friend kept telling me about this awesome band, called Metallica. He gave me this VHS tape to borrow, and I instantly became a life long fan. This song in particular is the song I look forward to the most at their concerts, because of this performance. This version of, I think, one of metals true masterpieces, shows to me why Metallica should do a Garage Inc-esque album based on their own stuff - that part of the song at 3:14 where it goes into the "Die by my hand" part, is bloody brilliant and I think sounds 10x cooler than the now antiquated cd original - just meatier and more rythmical - James' voice sounds fantastic and the equipment doesn't sound 'old' - I love this song.
