Lars is a cool guy, dunno why some people hate him
@Abrahamhamham8 жыл бұрын
just because he's lazy and, apparently, doesn't care about developing his drumming skills and makes beginner's mistakes. He's not very creative nowadays, drumming-wise, to be honest. But, fuck it, he started Metallica, so i don't think there's any reason to complain. I totally love this guy. And another reason why people hate him is because that's how metal-heads are. They can't accept the fact that he doesn't give a shit about what people think and i feel like sometimes he does it on purpose just to piss them off.

He gets SO MUCH HATE. The worst part anout it is that he genuinely loves the fans, has loads of humility, and is extremely grounded. I guess it's napster still...that wasn't about money. It was about having control of the bands art. I don't blame Lars at all. Let's not forget that he wasn't the only one to go to court, but he took all the hate. I love the guy to death. Been a fan of Metallica since I was 6 in 1987.

@poojockmcplop10385 жыл бұрын
Lars is actually a very underrated drummer, he plays what the songs need and is a great song arranger. After ‘Justice ‘ there wasn’t anywhere else to go, they’d lost their main man Cliff - the greatest bass player ever - made the Black album to secure their eternal connection to mainstream audiences and being the cash cow would pay their bills forever. Lars isnt just a drummer, he is Metallica- period ! 🤘

'tallica are back in the studio puting together a new album after nearly 8 years. the only bass player i can think of whom would even work for lars/'tallica is ron mcgovney the bands true original bassist from their "no life til leather demo days" just before firing him to get trauma bass-freak cliff burton, when they were in L.A. and had to move to san fransisco to get him in. if not for a petty argument over beds on the swedish tour bus in 1986 between kirk hammett and cliff burton, it would be hammett who would be dead and not burton. kirk hammett pre-'tallica when he was still in HIS own band exodus, hammett was a speed metal guitarist and "atheist", lars by todays standards screwed gary holt out of hammett and ended up with rick hunolt whom after a bit more than 20 years in, quit the band over a woman because she was apparently "PG" today called "preggars" and is a B.A.C. i seriously doubt i would even consider buying 'tallica next album. but at least lars is NOT known for being a homophobic ass-hat like phincter boy mustaine.

what else is there to talk about? The world knows how he stole the name Metallica from a friend whom was going to start a metal magazine. The whole world knows how they stole the best songs to record Kill'm all from Dave Mustaine, including ride the lightining and call of. The whole world knows he's a money hungry troll that loves to sue his own fans and pretend nothing ever happened. The whole world knows they recorded St. Anger and suckered their fans out of millions of dollars on the worst album ever recorded in history. It's not that people don't like them. I did back then. But who are we to judge right? However, we can and have the power to buy or not buy their product. They earned a great reputation and then murdered it along with their respect... And how about a predictable live show.. They play the same songs over and over and over..Don't people get sick of hearing for whom the bell tolls? one? enter sandman? roam? one? when having so many other great old songs to pick from? then to top it off, Kirk cant play a solo right if his life depended on it. Lars is always either on purpose or by choice messing up or taking shortcuts on the drumming. And James, let's face it he is done. His voice is and will never be the same. His humming kills me..what ever happened to the lion type voice he had. He hums his songs because his voice is dead. Everything post black album is poo poo.. including Death Magnetic. Long boring songs that make no sense. People liked it because it was followed by horrible, horrible albums that made that seem a step up from the trash they put out before. And finally, as previously mentioned and has to come up again. What type of butt hole takes his own fans to court because they download music from the internet? But hold on a minute you say? it's hard work making albums.. that's how they earn their living stealing is not right...To their fans who still support this train wreck.. by all means.. keep giving them your hard earned money they sure have earned it... And what a slap in the face with the release of the remastered Killm all and Ride box set. Megadeth remastered a couple of their first albums. When they asked this bag, he said that metallicas first albums were classics and shouldn't be remastered. Not a direct quote but do the research. Next thing you know they decide to conduct operation re-sucker the 80's fans who payed for James Hetfield's Tesla and Lars 5 million dollar painting... by trying to remastering those albums for over 100$ a box... Really? No shame!! Last but not least, there are no big four.. and if Metallica is one of the big ones someone made a mistake.. Big 4 are Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth, Iron Maiden

@Joe Martinez You talk like you know Lars and James personally? But we know you don't they wouldn't associate with a bitter fucktard like you.Wow Lars stole all of this supposed great music from Dave huh? Dave wrote little riffs with stupid words (mechanix)We all know James is the real wordsmith of Metallica.They gave Dave what he deserved for being such a great bandmate (a bus ticket and royalties for his contribution).Metallica made Mustaine relevant while he got Megadeth together and kept him relevant until he got his shit together.
