INTRO - 12 strings acoustic, played with pick, has 2 guitars (one high, one low), harpsichord emulated with two others 12 strings acoustic guitars. In the SONGBOOK pdf you will have exactly each parts like the real deal. In the video what you see is a mix of guitars that played to give you idea of every parts... I recreate the feel and sound of 12 strings guitar by multi tracking my regular 6 strings acoustic guitar. Unfortunately, it can't sound like the real deal without 12 strings, it will be weak, and please... don't play all the parts with fingers like you can see everywhere for years on the internet, it just sounds crapy. THRASH part - well ? it's... furiously fast !! But I think we finally have what they played in the studio and how they really play the parts - Hope the mysterious is over. GUITAR SOLO o is pretty tricky for sure and the last part is so wild and needs to be played like this, cause Kirk never play really the same things, but this is what he played in the studio ! In every song of the album Kirk have some licks really not natural to play so, this can be weird in the beginning, but practice will be the key ! Good Luck with this one guys !!

1:03 this riff feels so weird, for some reason my brain just won't let me put it togheter, the interval between the notes are too "out of tempo" and it feels very weird

It's tough, but you have to first start by understand that the snare is not on the "1". It's on the "2". Kick snare kick snare. The riff after makes more sense then.

That's because tab for the previous riff is kinda misleading. It's not 0000002 0000003 0000002 003 002 it's rhythmically should be 00000030 00000020 00000030 0020 0020
