I suspect it is because it is hard to hide any rhythm mistakes with a ride. But that is just my theory. I've never been able to figure out why he completely abandoned that one cymbal after the load albums and on tour.

Josh, I remember someone asking in your one of your medley videos if you were planning to do one of Rust in Peace, and your response was something like "I haven't really gotten into that album yet, but it will happen someday". It's an amazing album, arguably megadeths peak of technicality and especially, a phenomenal debut for Nick Menza. If you can find time to get into the album and create a medley, it'll probably be your best one yet. Just take your time, and please don't leave any songs out, because they're all awesome.
