A lot acoustic covers leave me cold. They seem to be more of a technical exercise, rather than a piece of music. Listening to this I think I know what it is, there’s never much in the way of dynamics, they never go anywhere (does that make sense?) This though is fantastic! Justin uses the instrumental take you an a journey, not to show off. There’s highs, lows and paths leading between them that make sense!

I could not have imagined it played any clearer on acoustic. He makes it look easy. And in a way it is. All of it's right there on the fret board. This was the first real song I lernt to play ( on a old broken school 6 string ) I'm Pushing 70 now( I was 55 when I started to learn, borrow the guitar from my kid ) and although I don't play too often this is the one song I still remember the chords too...(just wish I could play as well as you Mr Johnson) 👍

This arrangement is the best I've heard. period. Soulful, heartfelt., but yet still incredibly virtuosic. Loved every single second of it. Then you realize Justin is playing that thing on a 12 string, which are significantly harder to play. And he makes it look like he's just playing a regular 6 stringer, bends, hammer-ons, pull-offs and all. Not only is he incredibly talented, but I'm sure that man could crush any mortal's left hand with his handshake :)

@Denzel exactly what I was thinking. A 12 string is only slightly more difficult to play than a 6 string. All it requires is a tad bit more finger strength
