When James said in one of their concerts: 'Jason you're too metal man...Too Metal for your own good'...I dont think he realized how meaningful that was. Jason is indeed too fucking metal for his own good. Not only does he kick butt on stage but it actually made him quit the band as he was trying to stand by his principles. He didnt care about the money or the fame or anything else. All he wanted was to make music and he wasnt allowed to. So he quit. THAT is what you call a Metal attitude.

I think that's just Jason. I saw an interview with him after he played one song and his hands were shaking because he was so jacked on adrenaline. He almost unmatched when it comes to onstage energy and presence.

Creeping Death 09. Seek & Destroy In an interview, Jason said that he wanted some of the fastest songs. He wanted to play Motorbreath but Lars said that Motorbreath was already taken. So he said "alright we're gonna do Whiplash".

But as I see in other posts and I think the same, jason just brings fire to metallica. He "fits" better. I do not want him to come back though. Mas foi com certeza o que mais vestiu a camiseta do Metallica, o baixista que menos se importava com visibilidade e dinheiro, pois era o que mais fazia por amor à banda e ao Rock n' roll.
