@@rifasclub I don't think they have announced concord 8 years ago, i would've liked that to be the case because there were only reports that suggested they started working on the game 8 years ago and who knows to what extent that is the actual truth but what what a waste of time and resources. Imagine instead they used that 8 years into making a beautiful and creative singleplayer games like atlus does but instead they embarrassed themselves with whatever concord was.

Don't let Yoko Taro's sense of humor fool you. His games gave me depression multiple times because of how heartbreaking and amazing the narratives were. I would buy and play his next major game in a heartbeat. Good luck to Atlus on the sales with Metaphor, not that you need luck!

@@Terranigma23 he also genuinely likes games. its part of why his games are so beloved- they are games first and foremost- flaws and compromises and way too much potential for its hardware or writting staff included. yeah sure there are better rpgs out there with a buncha polish but his games are more emblematic of what gamers actually do. that ps2 era stuff is the exact kinda low quality gold you sometimres found renting from blockbuster or game freak. when the hardware could handle his scope he still didnt choose the easy path his games still try weird shit that you have to get used to. playing automata legitimately helped me go back and play a few flawed classics- and i wasnt complaining about anything- games stiff? oh well look what its trying to do and see the vision and itll reward ya. ever go back to play From softs kings field games? no where near as responsive as souls. but i just got used to it and it was like there was no difference all of a sudden. his interviews really cement that love of gaming in you.

Metaphor refantazio seems like a mix of persona, Smt and fire emblem with the way class mastery system works similarly to three houses, I’d play it because it’s a mix of my all time favorite JRPG’s, I do hope the game launches with new game plus though.

Also we must consider that Atlus has published games EVERY year (in 2024 has developed 3 games + published Unicorn Overlord for Vanillaware) and it would be strange if he don't publish nothing next year, would be a fiscal year without profit.
