Oh yeah the skater kid -> Bam Margera fan -> HIM fan pipeline was strong back then. They were the first concert I ever went to at the ripe old age of 14, and honestly it was a bit shit (though I can’t expect them to put out their A game at a small venue in Melbourne, I suppose). The way they embraced the colour pink was game changing to me as a hard core emo kid girl though, it was like I had permission to like pink again after years of hardcore “not like other girls” vibes in the scene

I think they desperately wanted to be like the other bands that started small and grinded. Them acting pumped to get castle like they were scraping for Pennies like other bands is pretty obvious. It's weird because in their first acoustic videos before 2008, Cyrus sings pretty decent, he sounds good and he used to know how to sing.

I remember meeting/watching them in like 2016 at a local club, and it really took me back to 2008 omg. Trace and Mason were super sweet and so was their touring(??) drummer

I remember I asked you to make a video about this group like 2 or 3 years ago lol but no worries as a content creator I definitely get how videos you “mean to do soon” turns into years long projects lol None the less, thanks for the content! Metro station means a lot cause they’re legit my introduction into neon pop punk! I was only 9 when their album hit and it had me hype! Introduced me into a lot of other music and it’s crazy because yeah it all started from Hannah Montana at least for me and how I got introduced 😂😂😂

If Ben Gibbard & Tom Delonge’s character from the “First Date” video had a baby, they’d have you my friend! And, I absolutely love it! You’re super rad. Keep up the good work!!!
