This does look good though. I'd try it.

I admire that you're honest about your efforts not being what you hoped, and remember to stay positive, what you learned here will help you next time. Keep cooking :-)

Yum. I've made this. Mine turned out the same way. I don't think all that is grease. Just blot it if you don't like it. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Next time, before you add the corn and tomatoes etc….when it’s just the sautéed meat, drain off the meat grease. Actually, yours was a clever idea…I never would have thought to put the potatoes with chorizo a La shepherds pie style. 🙂👍

So, drain it after the chorizo is cooked? Excellent. I didn't think of that. Thank you so much. 👍😊❤️

I came here to say the same thing....drain the grease... And maybe add cheese on top

@p.b.8619 excellent. I didn't think about adding cheese. That sounds good. Thank you. 👍😊❤️

Next time, do like you said, pipe on the mashed potatoes. And yes they do look really thick. All you can do is try again. Good luck 🤞

Are you sure that fluid is grease? Maybe it was just fluid from the tomatoes or water that you added.

I would of drained some of the fat and piped the potatoes on.

Justto emphasize, if you have too much grease at the end, then there was a point where you should have drained the grease, almost always after you brown any meat you will have to drain the grease from that meat, via a strainer or colander and then add it back to the pan to continue your recipe....i feel like this should be evident....in any event, its a learning experience and i hope you get better. Good luck... especially if you're gonna make videos

I didn't realize the chorizo had so much grease in it. I've never cooked with it before. But hey thanks for making me feel like an idiot. 👍😊❤️ Also, I don't make videos claiming I'm a 5 star chef. I'm just a regular person trying recipes. Thank you for watching my video.

Wasn't trying to make you feel like an idiot...just constructive criticism, we all learn these things as we go, sorry if I came across harsh but after browning the meat surely you saw the grease...maybe don't do recipes for the first time on videos that you post....try them first work out the bugs then post. Again I'm sorry for any harshness...I encourage you to keep on keeping on. I love cooking content.

I did drain the grease after I browned my ground beef. I did state that in the video but didn't show it. My issue was with the chorizo. Is it extremely greasy when it's cooked? I don't know bc I've never used it before. My sister gave it to me. I chose this recipe bc my mom wanted something different. My channel is about me trying recipes I've never tried before and showcasing my and my mom's favorite recipes. I'm super glad you stumbled upon my channel and I hope you subscribe if you haven't yet. 👍😊❤️
