I am Tata Tiago Ev owner. I had so many issues with Tata regarding services, quality and battery issues. Also people from my family and friends who owns Tata had same issues. But I never heard any major issues related to MG inspite of being Chinese brand. Also MG is into electric since last 10-12 years. They have good models abroad. This car is really value for money and comes with a good package.

You'll have to pay even more at public chargers. Where are the cost savings?

5250 + interest will be minimum you will pay for using battery even if you dont drive at all & you will keep paying it forever as long as you use it + cost of charging electricity . which is between 10-25 km per unit depending on where you charge . i am assuming thats going to end up 6-7 rupees per km same as ICE cars. whats the point ?when most cars worldwide lay idle for 95 % of their life ! yup ! a car owned for 10 years have been actually used only for 6 months on an average
