A tip if you don’t want the gillie mantle to run out do the Kabuki gesture and in the gesture you walk around and your gillie doesn’t run out. Also if you don’t move it doesn’t run out

Great guide, thanks. My wife managed to caught few of them without actually leveling her GL so I’m a little jealous. Also I wonder when capcom will realize that we not only want to catch endemics, but to fight them with each other in pvp counters.

Great guide! I really didn't know they were 7 types of Molys lol. I believe they can appear at lvl 1 areas it's just really more rare, some of my Moly catch had been on my forest area which I only have at lvl1.

Yes that's true they can appear in lower level areas but the rarer ones were much much harder to find in lower level areas. If you found one of the rare molys in a lv1 zone then you got super super lucky!

I don't know if you mentioned it later on but screamer pods will cause the moly's to surface but you have to make sure to have the net ready to equip and fire quickly

I knew they added some new little pesky creatures as i always seen them scurrying away before i knew of their existance and once i saw them i've tried to get them but the peskylil buggers have a nack for running even at long distances so without this you would just have to memorize where they were when they ran. However i thoguht it was all the same creature since all i saw was their arse the whole time. Thats said sometimes they just move further and not run away Under the fishing

Holy moly! I've gotten all but 3 of the Iceborne trophies now (gold crowns and platinum of course). Endemic life gathering achievements are not my favorite. Kind of a slog. Except for the molies! I love the molies! For Chrissakes, there's a headbanger moly with a mohawk! Give me more molies! I must have all of the rare ones and the paid dlc moly charms. Give me Moly Hunter: World, Capcom.

Interesting to know it works on them also. It can be fiddly to switch in time even with the radial menu so i'd probably just suggest going with the ghillie mantle.

The definitely respawn as going back to areas without ever leaving was how i caught several of them.

They spawn at dusk and dawn and will stay until the next spawn time unless you scare them away accidentally.

They can spawn while you are in it so you don't need to leave the guiding lands. Just go back and check again after a bit.

They are rare but level 7 makes a world of difference on their spawn chances. Also consider joining others with higher Guiding land regions than yourself and disconnect if you have to and you will remain in their level lands.

Just to add, region-specific molys seem to spawn at specific times of the day. For example, I saw spiny moly only during evening, and a rocky moly during sunrise/sunset.
