Teach grandma to suck eggs (班門弄斧) Cross the bridge when you come to it (船到橋頭自然直) There is no smoke without fire ( 空穴來風) Buy a pig in a poke (隔山買牛) Speak of the devil ( 一講曹操。。。。) Water under the bridge (覆水難收) Protest too much (此地無銀三百兩)Icing on the cake (錦上添花) Spot / bang on (一語中的) Pale into insignificance ( 微不足道)Fish in troubled waters ( 混水摸魚)jump the wagon ( 跟風) Take the violin out ( 扮可憐博同情)and many more...
Being a graduate fr a university overseas decades ago, I believe I still have rooms for improvements especially in my spoken English. Recently I left a comment in KZbin about an artist’s spoken English whether hers is native speaking or not. I was astonished to receive numerous negative feedbacks in KZbin, judging my point of view harshly. So I need improving my English and striving for the best ! ☺️

Thanks, Melody! Thanks for creating interesting content!
As the saying goes: Never say Never. I would rather say: I need nobody's support instead of I don't need nobody's support. The latter is more a street slang that actually makes no logical sense. Among blacks, they often say things like "I didn't do nothing" which in itself is a slang. Another common expression that many Americans get wrong is : I couldn't care less. Many of my friends would say "I could care less". My joking response to that is : Let me learn you some good English.
