It's time for more Constellation, Last Stand Media's conversational podcast. This week, I (Colin) am joined by my lovely wife and Last Stand's coordinator Micah Moriarty, Summon Sign's Brad Ellis, and Lockmort's Edit's Lockmort. And boy, do we have a nerdy assortment of topics for you. Micah kicks things off with a short D&D-like campaign she wrote for us to participate in, complete with branching paths and dice rolls. Will we survive? Brad follows-up with a chat about LEGO sets, their quality, their licenses, and their great expense. Are we fans? From there, I (Colin) take over by talking about schadenfreude, the German word that means reveling in the misfortune of others. Let's be honest: None of us is above it... right? Finally, Lock wraps things up with a peek into the what-ifs of Assassin's Creed's future. If it was up to us, where in history would we set a new AC title?

The DnD campaign was fantastic. I recently became a DM with a story I wrote for my friends. One friend had life stuff get in the way and had to take a long break. We stopped our campaign toward the end. It's heartbreaking, so a mini campaign like that was refreshing.

I love Colin and think he’s the lynchpin of LSM but I think a LSM DnD campaign would be better off without him. He’s too much of a negative Nancy and isn’t willing to take part in the immersion part of DnD that makes it so fun to watch.

Legos are fun regardless of age! I made thousands during COVID buying incomplete Star Wars sets, completing them then reselling on EBAY. Still have some amazing sets left because once I got my job back I stopped doing it.

I love lego, I grew up having a huge box of random Legos as a kid. I remember building endless contraptions and oddities. I also got a few sets back then, like a knight in Castle set. And then my kids were very much into lego, they have their own huge box of random Legos that they would build with. And we've gotten a few Christmas and holiday themed Lego sets over the years.

What I think they should do with AC is make the upcoming Netflix show canon and have that be the main outlet for modern day. Don't even bother with the games. It felt like it was going somewhere with Valhalla only for them to kind of rehash AC3's ending at the end

Going to bat for Dr Disrespect in any way was really strange behavior from Lockmort. I don’t even know which “friends” he was referring to that apparently “monetized” his situation? Nick Mercs definitely didn’t do that. He simply addressed the situation on stream as anyone who found out their friend is a would be pedo would. So I don’t really get Lock’s point. It’s not like Doc had many streamer “friends” outside of Tim, Nick and Z. And none of them did what Lock is implying.

Instead of the travesty of skull and bones. They could also then do a pirates game, then an assassins game, giving each franchise a chance to breathe. And alternate each year or two. Also if that’s the main point, they missed the mark on quite a few games lately.
