Studying in China for a year the main problem I had with the censorship was the inability to access online academic journals. It made staying on the cutting edge of any field quite difficult. Aside from that, the inability to easily communicate with people back home through blogs, facebook, and the like was inconvenient, but not terribly damaging.

The development speed of China enough to prove everything, why now Chinese need to hush it, saying People will talk., language can cause great harm, especially for a country was short of money, a country, to the shortest time rich, the most important is the social stability, with an strong government, to eliminate all obstacles to the development of economy, the most effective strategy and execution. Then a strong government, and freedom of speech is contradictory, why, because of the strong government, on behalf of the western democracy and centralization, is the opposite, but if the western democracy, so to see what happens, "such as The Belt and Road, similar large-scale such strategy, which is the western government forever not able to do so, because Western votes out of the government, after all, is the" veto ", no one organization has enough power to make a strategy, but everyone has the power to veto, which led to what the government can do, any strategy, will damage the interests of some people, even a small number of people, but that some people, enough to make strategy can not, this is the biggest disadvantage of western style liberal interest groups, passing each other, leading to conducive to the long-term The development of the bill, not through, they do not have a strong group stand out to lead the way, as long as there are people to stand up, they say, is autocratic, so the result is economic stagnation has rich capitalist countries, a large number of young people unemployed, poor countries is the slow development of capitalism, the contrast India and Chinese you know, in 1980, China's economy was flat, now? How many times is China's economy in India? India has all the freedoms you want, is it effective? A large number of people's lives are miserable. Go back to the question of freedom of speech, freedom of speech if you easily brainwashed, this silly beep, by the western public opinion, speech will begin to attack the government, inciting the public mood, cause social instability, social instability is the biggest obstacle to economic development, look at the cultural revolution will know, busy and struggle. Focus on the development of the economy? Chinese so big country, so many people, so difficult, but the economy is growing at ten percent a year, has lasted for 30 years, this year the total economic China is 10 times in 2003, and America's economy is only 1.8 times in 2003, this is the advantage of one party

One of the things that people outside of China do not understand about the internal "politics" of China: It is not tolerated to criticize the Communist -Party-, but criticizing an -individual- in the government is just fine. In the chinese society which people value colectivism, the freedom of speech may have enormous disatrous power for the social stability and peace.
