One of his lesser known roles but still one of his best was in Kenneth Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing. It's a minor role (Dogberry), but he TOTALLY steals the movie with his portrayal.

@00:58 I gotta say Batman is not really brooding at all in the real comics, and thus Keaton (who reported the comics) was also not brooding. Keaton was actually stoic and disciplined per the comics. Meaning he had firm strength. Brooding is weakness, self wallowing. If Keaton is brooding then Clint Eastwood is brooding. Which Clint obviously is not. Anyways, this was a fantastic video. If you think of a sequel would love to see it. My personal fave Keaton film is ironically Desperate Measures, which is just another Batman film.

Awesome work. I don't think I was ever as obsessed about a movie as much as Batman 89. Two quick old school rumours, #1. One of the reasons why Michael Keaton allegedly got the role was his performance in clean and sober. It convinced doubters that he could be serious. #2. Ray liota was a dark horse candidate to play the joker due to his work on a movie called something wild however not only was he considered to young at the time but as you mentioned in the video the studio really wanted Nicholson. Not a bad choice as history has proven. Lol. 😝🤟😈🇺🇲

Nothing personal against you - you asked for feedback on these documentary style videos - but the only videos I'm interested in are the ones are about the comic book market, the pricing, the trends, and comic book info. You've been very helpful to me as a new collector. As far as the documentary-ish videos, I'd simply go search Michael Keaton or Stan Lee, for examples, if I wanted more info on them. I also watch ComicTom101 for the same reasons I watch your videos, but you tend to lose my interest on rants or when you go off topic. Again, not trying to be offensive, and heck, would love to meet you someday, but just trying to provide my personal input on a topic you asked about. Thanks, David!
