Also, just want to take a moment to challenge the suggestion that Trump’s survival was somehow divine providence. I believe in divine providence. But all kinds of people around the world - from popes to tyrants - have survived assassination attempts. And both good and bad people have been assassinated. Let’s be cautious about concluding God’s will to the survival or the death of the victim / intended victim… when free will, for good or for evil, may be the clearer explanation. And thank you for the recognition of Catholic teaching! Yes, Catholicism does have a lot to offer people of faith and everyone should study it - from the ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus, to the lives of the Apostles, the lives of the Saints and Martyrs, and the Doctors of the Church. So much goodness, truth, and beauty there. ❤

There’s nothing remotely controversial in it even when taking the fear mongering and manufactured controversy at face value. Trump’s disagreement with project 2025 is very simple and obvious: Trump is not a conservative. He is a liberal. He genuinely does not agree with the project. Either way you slice it, project 2025 is not the controversy you hoped it would be.

I downloaded the 2024 Transition Integrity Plan and got to Page 195. I was born-again in my 40s, and I'm a sort of apologetics-type Evangelical Christian who knows what I believe about God and the Bible, and why I believe it; but the way some conservatives were distancing themselves from TIP 2024, I didn't know what to expect. It didn't take long to realize this plan is based on reality. As in describing our Federal Government, Congress, Executive Branch, Judicial Branch, Military, etc. as they really are. There were a few things I wasn't sure about, but this is just a detailed and practical plan to help a conservative president achieve the Republican 20 promises to America.
