How is it shocking when a man listens to another man talking sense. How much more evidence do you need to confirm that dude is a dude regardless, if he chooses to be in address and call himself a princess. on the other hand a female would’ve interrupted him because he’s talking sense and be throwing emotional garbage at his arguments.

@erintaylor5856Ай бұрын
The kid said he was a biological male. Yet Michael sought to correct him anyway. he jumped straight to the narrative that he was pretending to be a man. He wasn't. he was making a very conservative point actually. Does dressing feminine require laws against it? I appreciate the nuance of the question. And Michael failed IMO. Did the student come to the point where, as Michael says, "very much want to be a woman" ? It doesn't bode well for history as there were times when mens clothes were more frilly than women's. A truly conservative and dare I say grown up adult response is to let people express themselves as they see fit. That is the constitutional way. Epic fail Mr Knowles.

How is a baseless claim a truth? Let's say it right now, I'm not trans, I'm hetero, I don't protest for their rights or anything. But I listen, and their claims DO have a ton of coherence yet people dismiss those logical claims with mere assumptions. Here for example, what is his basis to say that it's gonna hurt him? Nothing What's his basis to claim that he/she isn't a woman? Such a claim would require a clear definition of woman which is not the case: Woman has two (official) meanings. One is biological and yes, he isn't a biological woman. But trans people DON'T claim to be (except some crazies of course). They play on the second meaning which is societal. Indeed, you can be a biological woman, that's what we call your sex AND/OR be a woman in gender. You can verify on any dictionnary, gender isn't factual nor biological. Gender is determined by a group of attituded which ressembles one or the other group (man or woman) In this sense, since they adopt the way of life and the appearance of a woman, their gender is that of a woman. I hardly see any flaw with this logic and yet people simply assume they're crazy and dellusional...

There is usually some gray area in these kinds of things and everybody wants to be on one side or the other.

This was probably one of the best conversations I've seen. No "talking points' just two opposite opinions. This is what happens when people have a discussion instead of choosing a political side to a very serious issue in the world. It isn't going to go away. There are Males and Females born in this country that don't feel the sex they were born into. They want to define gender aside from the sex they were born into. We are NOT dumb mammals. We have the ability to reason and ratify ideas based upon reason. It just takes people willing to discuss this issue instead of scream from a corner. Great job to both speakers.

@hannahframpton9235Ай бұрын
@@nk-dw2hmI don’t agree that the bathroom issue was a red herring, the trans person asked whether Michael believes being trans and dressing as the opposite gender should involve punitive action. Micheal brought the bathroom issue up because as he sees it, that is the point where someone’s personal choices start to infringe on the rights of others (women) so that is the point he believes punitive action may be necessary He believes people should have the right to dress in women’s clothes if they wish, claim to be a woman if they wish, but once they start entering spaces that are set aside for womens safety and privacy, his view is that at _that_ point it crosses over into a realm where punitive action may be necessary I agree with the second half of your comment though, assuming any group all act/think the same is harmful. Trans activists and the loud trans people online may almost all think a certain way, but that doesn’t mean all trans people in general do
