And now you'll all surely understand why there's so many Spanish and Italian riders in the GP paddock. Hats off to Michael for fighting in the British and Irish corners developing and showcasing young riders.

I'm a huge fan of Michael going back to the BSB days and he was amazing! I don't know what most Americans think, but I truly believe the BSB is the most exciting series anywhere and has been for years.Just one thing Michael can you tell that Hodgson guy to let you get a word in sometimes.Lol. Love the coverage on TNT, you guys do a great job.

Personal opinion but I think the problem with looking to America to solve Moto GPs problems/growth is that overall Americans just aren't that into motorcycle road racing. We talk about the golden era of having Roberts, Momola, Lawson, Spencer et al, but how many of them were superstars back home while racing. Roberts I assume sure to his dirt track, but even then compared to other automotive stars at the time? I love what Rainey and co are trying with Moto America but look at the crowds they pull vs their 4 wheel and off road cousins. I don't have the answers and loved when Leguna came back in the early 2ks, Indy not so much. Cota seems ok even with all its problems, but you again look at the crowds compared to Spain and Italy. Just realised this comment is turning into a Keith length thought, so will leave it at that. Loved this sport for 40 years and plan to continue loving it for 40 more.

We need new British riders in Moto 3 and Moto 2 to progress into motogp. Where is the talent? I thought Rory Skinner would do well. Keith. You are still the best Motogp commentator. Along with Whit.

I think for the Motogp expanding into the US market Trackhouse should twist Aprillias arm for full factory bikes next year and then sign Marc Marquez.. that will give the yanks someone to cheer and if they put Joe Roberts along side him they will have continuity...

Note from a real US citizen. Texas is an awful venue for the GP. The track is a complete engineering failure and Austin does not support the race. I attended two GP's in Austin and three in Indy and the Indy experience was ten times more fun. There were downtown events each year and the track is a fun place. COTA not so much. This just in from the states, the US has an entire east coast that the GP should grace with its presence. What is wrong with having three events in the states? The GP could put on events in between traveling between venues. I recommend starting west to east. One last thing, I’m tired of riders complaining about tracks. I thought they were riding on the best suspensions in the world. Deal with it! Everybody is riding on the same track.

We have the same in the UK. Most UK fans preferred Donington Park as a circuit, but Silverstone is a better venue. Better facilities and infrastructure, but a much worse track

Bottom line, we may determine a MotoGP champion in 2024 but that will have nothing to do with who was the best rider. Give Fabio a Ducati seat and Peco and Marquez will suck on his fumes. Same for Pedro and Binder and maybe even Mir. I believe when you arrive at the top of your sport the bikes should be the same and the best RIDER in the land should prevail.

@@macsmith6216 Really little Mac? What about Moto2 running those crappy Triumph triples. They are still fast, and we get a better idea of who is the best rider in Moto2. In the GP manufacture promenade, we get to see the fastest rider on a Ducati. Right? Just look how much the dirty Marquez brother advanced. The GP championship watered down due to this. BTW aren’t all those Triumph engines made in China like the rest of those so called “British” bikes?

@macsmith6216 Sorry about the triumph talk. I actually like and respect three of their models. I stand by everything else I said regarding MotoGP being a horse and pony show for manufacturers entire makers first. The MotoGP process of defining the best Rider in the world is seriously flawed.

Sounds like corporate America is about to take over motogp, sounds good but I'll bet it'll ruin the ethos of motogp over the next decade and will become a shadow of what it used to be

Any talk of MotoGP that does not include all riders riding the same bikes is hot air. Newsflash Kieth, the only thing real fans of the GP care about are the riders, their personalities, skills, and countries of origin. Bike manufacturers and tire companies ruen the sport. There is so much room for dollars to be saved by removing the manufacturers and giving all the riders a selection of two to three bikes. I don't care about Ducati doing well and Yamaha struggling. I want to know who the best riders are and the best teams. Summary, focus more on the nationality and regionality of the sport. Please stop boring me with bits and bobs and tire wear. KISS, keep it simple stupid. Give the people what they want.
