Larry Jennings was another hero of mine. He creative expression of magic was a big inspiration to me. I met him once and enjoyed one of the best sessions with him. Here is my recollection. Enjoy

Dear Michael. ..Very good performance. ..and I would like to say that Larry Jennings is one of my favourite magician and I have read..read and continuously read his excellent book The classic magic of Larry jennings (probably one of the best book ever..but unfortunately the new generation don't know)and every time I read I find always new things and input for new tricks approach....👏

It took me a while to fully understand this routine in Close-Up Classics but once I did, I was glad I learned it. As you say in the book, this is truly a gem of a trick.

It’s what happens when you dedicate your life to the subject. Mike certainly has done that. Talking to him is like having access to a library. It’s truly remarkable how well read he is overall but especially with magic

I was burning your hands all through the video because I knew you were going to do something. I thought "Nothing has happened" and then you turned over the cards at the end I just had the biggest sense of wonder and awe. And a huge smile on my face. Thank you Michael. I'm off to re-watch this again...and again...and again

That was SO GOOD Also, the style of talking to the camera, asking questions and such, the pause for an answer, it makes the trick feel just a little bit closer and really adds to the performance.

Fantastic Michael!! You truly stand on the shoulders of Kings. And here, Jennings stood on Daley's shoulders for his inspiration. Keep these videos coming. Cheers!!

These tributes are certainly not without merit. It is very great that you do this and it acknowledges where you’ve been and whom you’ve been with. These are well worth it and I’m glad to have you as a mentor and black magician. I’m very proud of your paths and maturities in the field. Perhaps some day we will meet, I would certainly have the great honor of meeting you in person and collecting loads of advices and quotes, for my future and older days.

I clicked on this video so fast! Better than morning coffee😂 I love this routine! The kicker ending is so unexpected and may make laymen spit out their food or drink in astonishment😂 One thing I love about this videos besides the amazing performances is the great knowledge and inspiration Michael is sharing to the younger, newer audience who may not be familiar with the older masters. Michael got me inspired and turned me on to books and other masters that even I wasn’t familiar with. Friends please share these videos.

That is wonderful. Just when I thought I knew what comes next…POW…and again. Really liked your comment of using sleights when a sleight might not be necessary. Interesting thought to internalize.

Inventing the routine is almost as impressive as the tricks. Very inspiring.

Oh also I recently picked up the Bill Malone playing cards and that got me thinking. Michael have you ever considered putting out your own signature deck?
