Not only is the playing and feel on the money- the explanation is great and I like the music notation on the left... this guy is world class! I have played Matanzas style for a while and loving it- the drum set parts are crazy difficult!

Well, a friend made this new logo for me. I record my video's in Logic (audio) and the editing part I do in Final Cut. Actually, I started giving these lessons because I wanted to learn the video software.... I'm very glad that people are enjoying the video's. Thanks!!

yeah, I couldn't agree more with the reviews. you are a great teacher and you know your field. It's really nice to find these jewels of videos as you explain complicated things very well. I studied with Munuquitos about 25 years ago in Cuba and it always felt like the rumba clave had a little swing to it. I think what Spiro calls the fix. It was very confusing but now since I play samba I understand better.

arlingtonguy54 Wow! Munequitos is always one of my favorite groups! Sometimes other cultures and rhythms can bring more information and understanding. I am glad that samba helped understanding rumba and this clavetiming.

Exactly it goes from 6/8 to Abaqua at least that's where I was taught in Havana
