As for making spritz cookies, this recipe might be a bit challenging to pipe depending on its consistency. Spritz cookie dough usually requires a softer, more pliable consistency to pass through a cookie press or piping bag with a nozzle. Given the high butter content in this recipe, it might work, but if the dough is too stiff, you can try softening the butter a bit more or adjusting the flour content slightly. Just keep in mind that altering the recipe could change the texture of the finished cookies. Experimenting with a small batch first would be a good idea to ensure the dough is pipeable and holds its shape when baked.

Yyoong K, Custard powder does come with small packages. If you can't find it. You can replace it with cornstarch + vanilla, which Cheng Lin Tay already answered in his comment. If you want high quality and tasty cookies, I suggest not to change the recipe. Good luck and all the best.
